Celestia is an L1 purpose-built for data availability, delivering up to 1 Tb/s of blockspace capacity to bring all the world's commerce onchain.

At 10 KB/s, you could build a basic trading protocol. At 10 MB/s, you could build a real onchain orderbook. At 1 Tb/s, every market (financial, data, compute, adspace) can run natively onchain, open to anyone. That progression is already happening. Hyperliquid alone requires over 20 MB/s of blockspace today. The leading alternative DA provider is targeting 1 GB/s which is only— enough for 50 applications of that scale. Celestia will provide up to 1000x that throughput.
