FrameworX unifies SCADA, HMI, IIoT and Historian in one industrial platform. It reaches plant equipment through more than 100 native device drivers plus OPC UA and MQTT with Sparkplug B, models that data in an ISA-95 Unified Namespace, historises it, and delivers displays and dashboards to desktop, web and mobile from a single designer.

AI-Native by architecture. Three MCP servers covering design, operations and runtime, plus an in-process AI agent spine, all released and supported today. An AI client works against the live project, its tags and its running data, and engineers approve every step.

Built on managed .NET, it runs on Windows, Linux, embedded devices and cloud. Every module, feature, and 100+ connectors included in each license.

  • AI, Security, NIS2, GIT Integration, Scalable, Everything is included - the price is the price.

What users like the least

  • The version 10 release was a significant leap forward, though early versions had issues that are now resolved. Legacy project upgrades still occasionally fail due to the migration from .NET 4 to the multiplatform architecture—I'd like to see better backwards compatibility here.

The real-time object model makes it straightforward to build applications that feel like customer-grade software rather than typical SCADA systems, enabling genuinely polished user interfaces. It handles complex architectures like Unified Namespace development well. FrameworX is powerful enough for nearly every use case I've encountered, and with AI, security, GIT integration, and scalability all included standard, it delivers strong value for the price.
