Great when using their templates, not so great when coding your own pages

Ion is a great platform when strictly working within their own templates and code. It makes sense for someone who's not coding and building their own pages to use this platform and it will work flawlessly that way. Unfortunately, my company and clients have had us coding our own custom pages for years and there is a lot that can go wrong when adding your own code. Things are much more difficult to set up and sync with the Ion interface. It also took Ion years to integrate simple features that our team had been mentioning frequently. Since we couldn't find another platform that could handle all of the integrations we needed, Ion has held up as our go to. It's a great platform when used within their boundaries, but sometimes clients' asks go beyond that.
