Nagish (meaning “accessible” in Hebrew) was founded in 2021 by Tomer Aharoni and Alon Ezer. Headquartered in New York with an office in Tel Aviv, we’ve raised $16M in Series A funding led by Canaan, K5 Global, Vertex Ventures Israel, Cardumen Capital, and others.
Our mission: to empower people with hearing loss to communicate independently and privately—without human relay services. Using proprietary AI, Nagish delivers real-time phone call captioning by converting voice to text and text to voice. Users can type or read during calls, with secure, FCC‑certified captioning services supporting emergency and enterprise use cases.
We offer customization features like personal dictionaries, saved transcripts, spam filtering, and compatibility with hearing aids or cochlear implants. All transcripts are stored locally for complete privacy.
Our Live Transcribe feature extends accessibility beyond calls—capturing spoken words in real time during live events, lectures, or everyday conversations.
