Excelerate is a boutique strategy and transformation consulting firm headquartered in San Diego, California, with an office in Portland, Oregon. Founded in 2016 by Nilay Thakkar (Executive Chairman) and Jana De Anda (CEO), Excelerate has delivered more than 360 engagements with a team of 40 consultants.

Excelerate's consultants are Transformation Architects™. We lead complex business transformations through a single role, the Transformation Architect™, who owns the business outcome across every workstream and function, from strategy through adoption. We don't manage transformations, we architect them. We work across three service areas: Customer-Centric Growth & Organizational Enablement, Data Connectivity & Intelligence, and Process & Digital Acceleration. Change management and facilitation run through all of them.

Every engagement is priced on a fixed fee tied to a defined scope and outcome, not billed hourly, so Excelerate carries the risk on how long the work takes.

Our consultants average more than 16 years of experience. Most held in-house leadership roles at companies such as Nike, Disney, Boeing, Intuit and Wells Fargo before advising on the work, and many came from Accenture, Deloitte, BCG and PwC.

Five industries sit at the center of our work: sporting goods and apparel, MedTech and medical devices, retail and CPG, financial services and insurance, and software and technology. We serve clients across the United States.
