Explendid Videos

AVOID they never delivered on the 3 videos, or website. Out of pocket for all of it. Now I keep getting upsell emails from them. They also try to charge for re-opening an already unfinished project. The fee for unlimited edits then charges additional fees and yet does not complete the video.

Unfortunately terrible experience working with Explendid videos. Signed a contract in early June to begin our work on a marketing video. We agreed upon a 4 week timeline, unlimited revisions for this project. It is now November and we still do not have our product, and have missed our marketing deadlines completely. Out company is a well established firm , and it seemed there was skepticism from Explendid as to whether they would receive payment. At the initial start- there was issue that we could not submit payment via credit card- we use a formal invoice billing system due to the size of our company, and we never pay vendors until work has been completed. This was communicated, and accepted by Explendid. However, the quality of work was very poor and turnaround times were long after the payment was not made upfront. Every revision I provided to the team took about a week for anyone to get back to me on, multiple times my requested revisions were not completed. We finally settled on a final version, and the billing department on our end cut the check. I sent this information to my main contact over a week ago- and still have not heard back. The representative said he is travelling and can’t get in touch with billing. At this point we missed another marketing deadline and still do not have our video. I would not consider using Explendid again after this experience. We had hoped to build a working relationship so we could work together in the future, though this experience has been disappointing.

This company will try to scam you at every turn. We tried to cancel after 10 days in accordance with their 30 day money back guarantee and we were shut down. I personally drove to the address provided and was told by property mgmt that they have never in over 5 years even heard of them. The quality of the videos is absolutely dismal. They claim to be in California yet they ask me what time zone I am in for every call and always got it wrong, AVOID this company at all costs. You will instantly regret it. I am in the process of reporting them to the better business bureau. If you want to comment on my review I will give you my personal contact info and talk to you on the phone to give you examples.
