Motionvillee

Motionvillee helped us with filmmaking work for our poetry event. In this event, 55 students nationwide competed, so 5:00 Films helped us create vignettes for each one of those students, as well as vignettes of the competition’s judges. Additionally, they helped us put together our three semifinal broadcast videos, which were about two and a half hours each. Motionvillee was also heavily involved in the live webcast finals, which was a mixture between a live and a prerecorded event. During the webcast, they were in charge of switching back and forth between a live transmission on stage, prerecorded material, and live transmissions of our nine finalists across the country and internationally. It was a very intense production work for them.

Motionvillee helped us to produce a roughly 5-min video introducing the members of our fellowship cohort. We wanted the video to include brief interview clips with each fellow as well as some photos and videos of them and their organizations at work. They helped us to design the interview questions and then worked directly with fellows to coordinate recording time slots and shipping of recording kits. During the recording calls, the Motionvillee team took the lead on providing feedback and ensuring we got high-quality recordings. They then produced a couple iterations of the video for us based on cycles of feedback and input and were able to implement our feedback in an effective way.

Develop 12 social-first videos featuring grantees of the Kaiser Permanente Center for Gun Violence Research and Education for use in a campaign designed to elevate grantee voices and highlight grantee work and its impact while increasing awareness of the KP Center and its impactful investments. Deliverables included creative consultation, pre-production, production, and post-production. Leveraging footage from the previously mentioned project, develop 12 social-first videos and 1 compliation video featuring experts discussing in their own words why gun violence is a public health issue, as part of an effort to deepen understanding of gun violence, its causes, its impacts, and its solutions. Deliverables included pre-production and post-production, including motion graphics.

Motionvillee was our primary video production partner that helped us record presentations, manage our live streams, and conduct live Q&A sessions. The team also developed creative assets for the videos that reflect our branding.

The team created shorter-length videos for Instagram and is now working on a different project.
