We study how each major engine researches UK aesthetic clinics, including the searches it runs, the websites it retrieves and the evidence behind the clinics it names.

We then identify where a clinic is being missed and address the gaps. This may include stronger treatment content, clearer practitioner information, improved structured data, Google Business Profile work, or better representation across relevant registers and directories.

Every engagement begins with a visibility baseline across the major engines. We repeat the testing over time, so progress is measured against actual recommendations rather than assumed from rankings or traffic alone.

Penydarren was founded in London in 2026 as an independent specialist consultancy. Clients work directly with the researcher who developed the testing methodology, rather than through an account management team.

The work is grounded in an ongoing study of how ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews choose which UK aesthetic clinics to include in their answers.
