I have more than 20 years of experience practicing law. Preparation, communication, and research are the most important tools to successfully represent a client. I focus on each client’s case, no matter what the charge. I believe the legal profession and system are services based industries, where the attorneys are employed to provide information, guidance and advocacy to those they represent. Focusing primarily in litigation, I have practiced in the following areas: defense of criminal cases, including DUI, Civil License Suspensions, felony and misdemeanor assaults, felony sexual assaults, arson, embezzlement, and theft; as well as personal injury law, including automobile crashes, negligence, premises liability, slip and falls, and intentional torts. I also handle insurance disputes, contract and real estate disputes, restraining orders, relief from abuse cases and divorce and child custody matters.
I have worked for Courts and law firms in Nebraska, Iowa, New York and Vermont. The last 15 years here in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont.
