BigCommerce's feature of product information is very helpful for larger catalog stores

We Chris Glarner have been using BigCommerce for 1.5 years. Secure Checkout & PCI compliance out of the box, quality payment/checkout integrations, and fast and easy uploads/downloads for product information which is better for larger catalog stores. Slow Server Response Time, which impacts Site Speed and SEO, lacks some core e-commerce functionality, such as the ability for customers to add a gift note and bulk upload/edit categories.

Love this intuitive eCommerce platform. I tried all other platforms and had lost all hope of getting a perfect one and then I found this software solution. It is really a one-stop solution for all your needs. from payment integration to product detailing flexibility, it is truly seamless.

It all comes down to support. The BigCommerce Platform has a TON of very rich content out there that's easy to use. Beyond that, their customer support is excellent. Highly recommend this platform.

Good platform for eCommerce

BigCommerce, as its name implies, is a great platform for ecommerce. It offers many easy connections to popular APIs, is releatively easy to set-up, and has a powerful product/inventory manager. There are some customization issues you may come across, so it helps to have a developer familiar with Handlebars.js on staff or on call.

BigCommerce eCommerce Solution

I have been using BigCommerce since 2012 and we have seen nothing but growth (double and triple digits) since that time. Their backend allows me to easily manage our products (images, descriptions, pricing, inventory) and continually improve our overall SEO recognition by the major search engines. They have countless partners that allow additional implementations/integrations that improve over their already excellent solution.

Not the e-commerce platform of the future

Bigcommerce to me is an Aussie e-commerce platform that have never really evolved. I am from 2007 with them on one of my businesses. Nothing really evolved, still the same crappy old themes that had a so called roll over with Pixel union. Still battling with out dated payment gateways. Still a crappy product option app in it. Don't ask me actually to rate this platform because in 10 years time they wont exist anymore.
