Open source job scheduler and queuing engine

evQueue provides both simple task execution and complex task chaining (workflow) using an easy to use drag & drop web interface. Workflow description includes output linking to input, conditions, loops... Queues management provides an easy way for task parallelization and resource control. The network API provides an easy way, XML based, for synchronous or asynchronous workflow launching and control, allowing tasks to be launched from external applications or web pages. You can thus execute heavy tasks on a remote (dedicated) machine to save resources on your web frontends while providing live reporting of the treatment to your users. evQueue is agentless (remote connection is made through SSH) and works on Linux environments. We provide Debian packages.

A fairly user friendly tool with all the necessary features required.

Overall my experience using evQueue was great though it has all the necessary features from real time updates to collaborative access to most of the crucial tools for our team, it definitely has room for improvement. The UI of the tool seems out of style and makes the users feel like they are working on boring tool which may hinder their work motivation. It works fine and has majorly everything.

The realtime project updates are very good in the tool it makes the tasks easily tracked identify and potential delays in the processes.

What do you like the least about evQueue?

The interface is quite boring along with some bugs which will be tackled on support but still two major issues we faced.

evQueue has amazing user-friendly design and customization capabilities.

love this software that I can find all things in one place instead of looking everywhere. This is a very stable tool that ensures that appointments and events are managed seamlessly without glitches. Its built-in notification system is really useful for timely reminders of appointments so that we do not miss any commitments. It works pretty much exactly like it ought to in my opinion. Also, the colour-coded system adds a visual dimension to our organization.

It is useful to me and remember that have my schedule so it was good to use and I just Love it! gonna think of some features or could use. Very easy to use and convenient and very helpful to keep your tasks and events organized For small business owners, this platform fulfils all needs and works as a versatile tool.

What do you like the least about evQueue?

It took a while but once I finished my 1st list it was easy to start small lists.
