At SelbstsaendigKite.de, we use MailPoet which is a WordPress-only newsletter plugin.The plugin integrates perfectly with any WordPress website and blog and the install and setup process is easy.The biggest advantage is, that it’s much easier to write newsletters to promote blog posts and products because MailPoet comes with a deep WooCommerce integration and allows to send automatic e-mails to subscribers who abandoned their shopping cart, recommend products based on their former purchases and so on.Besides that self hosted newsletters are GDPR compliant since user data isn’t exported onto external servers of newsletter providers.
