Multi-level encryption starts with a client-side encryption layer, allowing true end-to-end encryption for password sharing, followed by SSL and storage encryption. Transparent public audit possibilities of the complete code. Security comes with correct encryption and not by hiding security flaws.

Kindly share your feedback on how GoodFirms has been doing so far in increasing your visibility among potential clients.
GoodFirm is a steady source of new potential customers and helps us in our marketing effort.
Please introduce your product and give a brief about your role within the organization.
Psono is a password manager for organizations that can be self-hosted on-premise. It allows employees to share all sorts of secrets like passwords for websites, GPG keys, files with cryptographic security while providing security personnel the necessary tools to audit their users' compliance.
What was the objective behind coming up with this software?
We wanted to secure how people share passwords in a company. The number of tools and passwords that people are using is growing steady and the lack of solutions that could be self-hosted that offer client-side encryption was the main driver.
How is your software beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other software alternatives available in the market?
Other vendors concentrate on cloud solutions while Psono is one of the few solutions that can be hosted on-premise and is suitable for bigger corporations.
What industries do you generally cater to? Which industries in general are highly benefiting by using your software?
The range of customers that are currently using Psono is extremely wide, varying from big corporations in the Fortune 500 to companies with just a hand full of people. Typical customers come from the finance sector (banks, insurance companies, …), are pharmaceutical and chemical companies, energy providers, and many more… So everyone has a strong need for security.
What are the key features of your software that makes it stand apart from your competitor products in the market?
The possibility to host it on-premise, the client-side encryption of all passwords, and the fact that all clients are open source, so everyone can be sure that no hidden backdoors have been incorporated in the product.
What is the customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
We so far lost only two customers over the past year, so I hope that the number of happy customers is quite high. The backbone of Psono’s success in this area is exceptional good support and public documentation. New feature wishes are publicly discussed in “issue trackers” on GitLab, so everyone can propose new features and discuss and shape features that are currently planned.
Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what is the percentage of repeat customers that you have?
Psono (next to its free versions) comes in yearly licenses and due to the age of the company it's hard to say where we end up in the long run, yet with high confidence, we should be able to maintain a 95% ratio of customers renewing their yearly licenses.
Does your software product provide any resource or knowledge section for its users? If yes, what kind of material is provided to your users to help them get acquainted with your product?
A customer searching for any information would for sure first visit our online documentation.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
Psono offers typically support via tickets, yet we also have our own Discord channel where people will receive help. All channels are closely monitored by our personnel.
What has been the revenue for your product for 2020?
The company was founded in 2020, so any number there would not be representative.
Where do you see your product in the next 10 years?
Our current focus is on passwords and text information. We will for sure see stronger incorporation into tools to simplify the process for administrators of technical systems and extend our toolset to become even more developer-friendly with new CLIs and SDKs. In 10 years Psono will be the leading solution for the secure exchange of confidential data.
