QlikView

We Emperia use QlikView. It is one of the business intelligence apps Qlik provides as a component of its data analytics platform. It is primarily geared toward rapidly producing guided analytics applications and dashboards. Because it is based on an Associative Engine, it enables data discovery without using queries-based tools. This removes the potential for data loss as well as inaccurate results. The associative exploration feature of Qlickview is built on simple selection and search operations that end-users of all experience levels can enter. Because of this, it is now feasible to view the pertinent corporate data from a variety of perspectives and to get new insights on an as-needed basis.

This software is really powerful. Dashboards, processes, tables, automatic analysis and more in one simple tool. We have used several software and we alwasy prefer and chose QlikView overall.

Pros:

1. Very easy to use and user-friendly once you know how to use it

2. Can create your own formulas and calculations

3. Very good user forums

Cons:

1. Loading and processing information become lengthy sometimes.

2. Is expensive to implement.

Pros: I like the most on this software is the creation of formulas for your chart object. It enables you to create formula on what you imagine.

Cons: I think the only cons of this software is the price. It's pricey but its worthy.

Overall Experience: Qlikview enable us to create a high-performance statistical dashboard which helps us provide great user experience to our clients.

Pros: Qlikview provides a flexible front-end for transforming data into something meaningful. It is a great tool to give to front-line folks who don't speak tech.

Cons: It can be a little difficult to manage all of the filters depending on how the program is built out.
