Especially because EHR technology is changing rapidly, we recommend that group practices retain the freedom to change the EHR solution - without disrupting an established and proven billing system. A standalone billing system with a robust system for importing EHR billing data seems to be a simple and cost-effective strategy for implementing EHR.
