We have multiple EHR Partners that have an excellent product, are low-cost, and are able to send out data which may be imported into the Summit-Edge billing system. These solutions are seamless. Still, we recognize that the EHR decision is a very personal one for each provider. What works for a LCSW, may not work for a Psychologist - and vice versa. Especially because EHR technology is changing rapidly, we recommend that group practices retain the freedom to change the EHR solution - without disrupting an established and proven billing system. A standalone billing system with a robust system for importing EHR billing data seems to be a simple and cost-effective strategy for implementing EHR.
