Please introduce your company and give a brief about your role within the organization.
We at AdaptNXT simplify Digital Transformation and Technology Adoption for small and medium businesses by guiding them with consulting and engineering services. Our belief is that technology solutions should be more value-oriented than trend-oriented. We build products, custom software applications, mobile applications, dashboards and do solution integration for our customers to increase their operational efficiency and revenues with specialization in Retail, Supply chain, Finance, and Manufacturing.
I currently am the CEO of the company and work closely with the client success team.
What is the story behind starting this company?
The founders of AdaptNXT have more than 20 years of experience each in technology and product development with Fortune 100 and startups. Based on our experience we had seen organizations with low technology skill-sets were not able to get the right solution with high noise in the technology space. This gap is making their choices difficult, we guided our customers with a data-driven approach and they could get the clarity. We started our journey with a small team in Bangalore, India, and has been growing rapidly. Currently, we cater to customers across the globe in various industries.
What are your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
We have an in-house team of a mix of experienced engineers and domain experts who provide end-to-end solutions for our customers right from requirement analysis to design to development and finally maintenance. Our domain experts work very closely with engineers to make them understand the customer requirements and hence build the software our customers love to use.
How does your company differentiate itself from the competition?
With our vast experience in the software industry and the inputs from our customers, we had noticed the biggest gap lies in the engineering teams understanding the right customer requirements and hence building the software which is not aligned with the business requirements. We have been successfully able to solve this gap by involving the right set of people at the right phase of the project to collaborate with the customers.
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what ratio of clients has been repetitive to you?
We though specialize in Retail, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing domains, we are sector agnostic. Our customers treat us as trusted partners and we have a more than 85% customer retention ratio. We have many of the customers who started us with small projects and have been with us for much longer periods we catering to all their technology needs with road-map defined for future years. Also, it will be apt to highlight that 90% of our new customers are through referrals.
Please share some of the services that you offer for which clients approach you the most for?
Since we have worked on quite some projects in the retail space, we have seen a pattern that customers especially in the eCommerce space end up spending a lot of time in operational activities which can be optimized by as high as 80% using technology. We have created custom multi-channel retail solutions for many of our customers to manage their product catalogs, orders, shipments, and financial reconciliations seamlessly.
What is your customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
AdaptNXT stands on 4 core values Quality, Integrity, Collaboration, and Innovation (QICI). These are the pillars of everything that we do in our organization. With our ratings on GoodFirms and with our customer retention ratio our customer satisfaction ratio is more than 98%.
In our organization, we follow the concept of FTR (First Time Right) in all our work. To achieve the same we follow an agile development model where the customer is given the demos at the end of every sprint to take their feedback on what has been developed.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
We have a dedicated support portal for the customers to raise the change requests and all the support queries are answered almost instantaneously to a maximum SLA period of 24 hours. Our customers are also provided with a dedicated relationship manager who is always available to discuss queries urgent in nature.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
We are quite flexible in our payment terms with our customers. The majority of our customers have enough clarity on what they want to be developed and like to work with us on Pay per Milestone or Pay per Feature models. This gives customers enough confidence in the team. But over the period once they have gained the confidence they prefer to work on a Fixed cost model. With the customers who are looking for a dedicated engineering team and the requirements evolve over a period of time, we are flexible to work on Time and Material model as well.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
Building relationships and trust with our customers is most important for us. We are open to working with all sizes of clients, starting from building MVP for startups to So we are quite flexible in the cost and size of the projects what we take.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2020?
We have worked with customers with budgets of anything ranging from USD 2000 to USD 200000.
Where do you see your company in the next 10 years?
In coming 10 years AdaptNXT will be globally located at least in 10 countries. In the short horizon, we will further diversify our technology streams in deep technologies like Blockchain. We will surely be the company working on niche technologies solving complex business problems of our customers.
