Challenges:-

  • Managing different pricing terms and credit limits for multiple vendors manually was causing confusion and inconsistency in vendor transactions.

  • Manually tracking payments and managing invoices across various bills and bank accounts resulted in errors and delayed reconciliations.

  • Uploading large quantities of product data manually was errable and inefficient, especially with product details that needed to be updated from time to time.

Solution:-

  • We configured credit limits and payment terms during vendor profile creation in Odoo, ensuring the automatic enforcement of vendor-specific transactions.

  • We integrated Odoo’s payment distribution feature, which allows payments across multiple bills to be matched with bank reconciliation. GST calculations are automated based on state rules.

  • We implemented bulk upload capabilities for Excel and CSV files. Additionally, we created a user-friendly template with built-in validation to ensure smooth and error-free uploads.

  • We integrated the WhatsApp Business API with Odoo, automating invoice delivery. Using dynamic templates, the system automatically sends invoices via WhatsApp, improving communication efficiency.

AgileInfoways is a purely service based web & mobile application development company. We’re ISO 9001:2008 certified and provides complete IT solutions that include full cycle project development, business analysis, User Interface (UI), User Experience (UX), code development, deployment & maintenance. We've been serving different industries for more than 10 years which comprises a strength 150+ in-house employees. I'm one of the Directors of the company.
Mention the objectives or the parameters critical in determining the time frame of developing a mobile app?
The main parameter is the scope of the project. Firstly, we do proper analysis and feasibility check of the base requirements and then define the scope document. And depending upon timeframe with the expertise required we decide how much time would go into design and development.
How much effort in terms of time goes into developing the front end and back end of a mobile application?
The maximum of nearly 30% of the time goes into the requirement analysis, coding, wire framing and then designing the database. Then the backend development and the front-end development (overall development) is 50% that includes the backend, and server-side development as well as the mobile app side development. The rest of the time we invest in QA.
What is your company’s business model–in-house team or third party vendors / outsourcing?
We do not out-source any of our projects to any external entities. We have a fully capable team in-house team of business development, project managers, delivery team, technical leads & the developers.
How is your business model beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other companies' models?
We follow “System Development Life Cycle”, so whatever project comes in, we first do complete requirement analysis, defining the scope documents & designing wireframes. Then we discuss these things with the client within proper timeline and make them understand why it's going to take a certain amount of time. We're open with the client and follow complete transparency while we're in the communication. Also, they get regular updates from us every second day. We make sure that client should be updated about the project progress every couple of days.
What are the key parameters to be considered before selecting the right platform for a mobile application?
We develop native & cross-platform applications. Based on the requirements we do feasibility check, there could be some features which may be out of the scope for us to develop in a cross-platform. So based on that we suggest them which platform they should use and which is better for them: native or cross platform.
What are the key factors that you consider before deciding the cost of a mobile application?
Firstly, based on the scope we define the timeline of the process to be performed. And then based on the timeline we provide the cost estimation. Depending on hourly rates of the resources that are going to work, we calculate the number of workforce hours and adding the resources experience, we give the final cost estimation.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients?
We follow different models. One of them is the “Fixed Price Model”. If in fixed price model, the scope is defined and we can determine how much time it is going to take, based on that we provide a fixed price estimate. We charge a small upfront payment and the remaining is divided into a number of milestones.

The other model we follow is the “Time & Material Model”. This is generally applicable when the scope of the project is not defined and the client is not sure what exactly he/she needs, he/she can hire developers on an hourly basis and we work based on their pre-defined instructions.

The third model is the “Staffing Model” where the project size is much bigger and the client wants to hire a dedicated resource(s), then we offer fixed monthly price for the dedicated resources.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement?
Yes, we try it keep a minimum of US$ 1,000.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2015?
Minimum is US$ 1,000 and maximum is more than US$ 100,000.
