I had a great experience working with Alive as a freelance event producer. The team were consistently professional, organised, and supportive throughout the process. Communication was clear, expectations were well managed, and there was a real sense of collaboration across the project. It was a pleasure working with such a dedicated and helpful team, and I’d happily work with Alive again in the future.

My experience with Alive Events Agency was deeply disappointing. After 6 months of delivering high-level marketing services, they withheld payment for the final three months of work, then issued an ultimatum: accept 50% or receive nothing—despite already working at a heavily discounted rate. They'd already refused payment for the first 3 months of payment but relented when I denied them access to some of the marketing assets I'd created for them. I should have stopped work then, but wanted to finish what I'd set out to achieve. Before refusing payment for the second time, they locked me out of SharePoint, denying access to assets I created. They then accused me of criminal conduct for asserting my right to be paid. A professional dispute turned hostile, with threats instead of resolution. Freelancers, proceed with caution.
