Please introduce your company and give a brief about your role within the company?
Bee Online is essentially a digital marketing company promoted by the directors, Hiren Joshi, Himanshu Verma, and myself, Abhishek Shah. Right from the start, we had intended to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi's - Digital India mission. We took it upon ourselves to make digital marketing accessible and affordable to all business segments across the nation, irrespective of the scale of operations.

I have been deeply involved in digital marketing for over a decade now, which has consequently led me to be the Customer Success Manager at Bee Online. I happily make use of my knack for SEO and Content Marketing to generate the desired results, which in turn help our clients meet and even exceed their expectations. I also author content on portals like - Entrepreneur.com, Social Media Today, Business2Community, Jeff Bullas, SEMrush, Etc.

It is our experience that every client approaches us with a unique set of goals. Hence, there is no ‘one size fits all’ concept when it comes to designing an apt Digital Marketing Strategy.

Our USP at Bee Online lies in our resources, intelligence, and services. Our humble yet notable success story is nothing but the result of good servicing which helped us scale the company to remarkable levels. If I can mention here, we haven’t invested much in marketing and the growth we have achieved is all organic, which says a lot about our work ethic and client satisfaction.

Another differentiating factor that we can boast of is that we recently kick-started a revenue-sharing model with some of our most prominent clients. Not only does allowing our clients to believe in our capabilities, but also help us demonstrate growing confidence in our team to achieve the desired results.

As of now, we have catered to over 1200 clients belonging to a wide array of industries, from across the nation. Of these, there have been some renowned names such as Godrej, Lokmat, Balaji Wafers, Baker Street, Jean Claude Biguine, RPG Group, etc. Yes, a large majority of our clients happily have us on retainer. In fact, we enjoy a client retention rate of 97%.

What do you find to be some of the most key factors for running a successful agency in the field of Digital Marketing?
Until now, we have been largely dependent on our organic efforts. As a matter of fact, we rank on #1 position for a highly competitive keyword like ‘SEO Experts in Mumbai’.
In addition, the conventional word of mouth has helped us gain numerous clients. And to tell you the truth, there is no better feeling than getting a call from a prospective client because an existing one is happy with your work.

Well, we do have another strategy up our sleeve. It may sound a little surprising, but we have developed an analogy between the client and a girlfriend. Ever since we did that, our understanding of the clients’ business goals has become increasingly evident. Besides, we now care for them, the way one should for their beloved. This has helped us build and nurture a trust-based relationship with them.

Recently, we were featured on Entrepreneur.com - the leading online business magazine of India. In the past, we have also been featured amongst 10 most valuable Digital Marketing companies of 2016, in Insights Success - a prominent business magazine for enterprises. This recognition is what gives our agency and us an unmatched boost! For the time being, our strategy is to grow organically by creating a thought-leadership in the industry.
What are the key factors that you consider before deciding the cost of a project?
There are numerous aspects that need diligence before arriving at the cost of the project, of which the most prominent is the scope of the project, the resources, and the premium tools that need to be used in a bid to achieve the goals of the client.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients?
We offer different monthly retainer packages to our clients for them to choose from, depending on their needs and objectives. In recent times, we have also introduced the revenue sharing model, wherein we only make a profit if certain preset goals are achieved. This helps the client place their trust in our capabilities, and lifts a major burden off their shoulders.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2018?
We work across a wide range of clients, irrespective of their scale of business and marketing goals. In fact, we work with all kind of clients from $100 to $1,00,000.
Name a couple of activities that you think to provide the best ROI in terms of benefit/impact when it comes to different areas of Digital Marketing.
At Bee Online, we have come to understand that the basics of digital marketing are the foundation to success, and the next imperative element is Conversion Rate Optimisation. One may concentrate on every other aspect such as SEO, Content Marketing, SM, Google Ads, but if the focus is not on CRO, you might lose out on conversions in a significant manner.
