ATL began as a one unit enterprise at the beginning of 2008. At that time, with the intermodal market feeling the contraction of the worldwide economy, ATL managed not only to survive, but to grow its pool of customers, effectively riding the market contraction and establishing ongoing steady relationships with the biggest Steamship Lines and NVOCC operators present in the US Market.
Headquartered in Chicago, IL, ATL opened its independent terminal in Omaha, NE on April 2009, effectively establishing a strategic point along the I-80 corridor. In February 2010, ATL set up a satellite presence in Rochelle, IL. Presently ATL operates a fleet of 70 units between these three locations.
This presence is one more cornerstone in guaranteeing total Midwest blanket coverage out of most of its biggest rail terminals. Our goal is to become Your main point of contact for all intermodal needs in the Midwest Region.
Our range of services guarantees not only drayage from point A to B. Today’s customer rightfully expects more than a trucker, but a partner in the optimization of logistics solutions at 360 degrees. Versatile enough to work with the biggest SSL and the heavy-volume lane, but also with the small sporadic shipper, we pride ourselves in understanding what the customer needs, thus becoming a natural fit for them. This mentality has led us to operate in a variety of settings and industries, from high demand automotive or retail to expedited door to port moves, dry or refrigerated, domestic or international.
