Banner Personnel Service opened its doors on September 28, 1970 when Jim Singer decided to purchase a Chicago employment agency. While the company’s initial focus was placing fresh college graduates into management trainee positions, Banner continued to grow and add further specialties. Jim’s wife, Emel, ran the company after his death, until her retirement in 2012.

Under new ownership, today Banner is celebrating nearly 5 decades in business. With a firm conviction that only the ‘right match’ will do, Banner’s team of recruiting experts listen to the employment needs both of our applicants and of our client companies in order to match an individual’s experience and educational background to the client’s job description and corporate culture.
