They are not afraid of challenges and helped us with really tricky custom app!

I am a Director Digital, UX/Analysts at a design studio in the US. Few months ago, one of our client’s website needed a custom Shopify app developed which was outside of my team capacity so I started looking for help on Upwork. As someone who was born and raised in Ukraine, it was important for me to support developers from home during the war since I knew that many companies stopped working with Ukrainians because is high risks. Since I found Mike and Binary Future, we’ve been working on multiple custom apps (mainly related to multiship and FedEx shipping custom setup) and him and his team were always ready to jump to any challenge we had, delivered work on time and at the highest quality. They don’t only work on what we asked but also bring up some potential improvements that would be nice to have and do their work thinking about end users. I really appreciate their hard work in this challenging times and wish to have more clients!

Binary Future helped us with two custom Shopify apps:

1. Multiship order split functionality - another developer helped us to build a form in the cart that allows to ship one product (multiple items) to multiple people. However, shop owner would still see it as one order and would have to manually print labels for each. This would take a lot of time for large volume orders plus some of those orders might be scheduled to ship for different days so it will be nearly impossible to trace them on time. Binary Future helped to split the order in the dashboard and create new separate orders that are easy to fulfill and track!

2. FedEx shipping setup. Our client has very specific shipping rates that are particularly based on FedEx API/shipping areas and partially on their own timing and add-ons. As you may know, Shopify doesn’t have direct FedEx integration so Binary Future developed a custom app for this as well!

Working on tricky tasks (i.e. they are not afraid of challenges)

Communication. Mike is very professional, detailed oriented, polite, understands a lot about US e-commerce.
