What is the story behind starting this company?
I come from a biomedical engineering background and was working with Pfizer as a Researcher. Back then, in the absence of a reliable and accurate data-sourcing technology, we faced significant challenges in creating workable models. The whole process was devoid of structured & labeled data, making our work cumbersome. It was then I realized the need for curated data to train and build our AI models, which could process humongous datasets efficiently. I could see the huge untapped potential and the role AI could play, and started Cogito.

At Cogito, we exclusively employ in-house teams of highly qualified experts. This approach allows us to maintain complete control over the critical phase of annotating and labeling raw data, including text, audio, images, and videos, which is fundamental for the success of any AI project.

The quality and accuracy of our in-house annotation team's work directly influence the performance of our clients' machine learning models, whether they are powered by artificial intelligence (AI), Large Language Models (LLM), or deep learning algorithms. For every computer vision or Natural Language Processing (NLP) project, our dedicated in-house annotation teams meticulously label and annotate vast quantities of raw data, including text, audio, images, and videos. Approximately 80% of our clients are repeat customers, while the remaining 20% had one-time requirements.

We prioritize quality through proactive assessments, transparency, and accountability. Going the extra mile is our standard practice, which includes post-interaction follow-ups and meticulous documentation.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?

We understand that each client has unique requirements and budget considerations. As a result, there is no fixed minimum budget requirement for our services.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2022?
In 2022, we handled a variety of projects with different scales. Smaller projects typically fell within the range of $10,000 to $20,000 USD, while a few larger projects extend to approximately $2 million USD.
