CoinConnect is Pakistan's dedicated crypto market-entry and regulatory advisory firm. We help global cryptocurrency exchanges, Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs), and Web3 companies enter Pakistan legally — from PVARA licensing strategy through to an operating presence in-market.

We operate as COIN CONNECT (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED, incorporated 16 May 2025 under the Companies Act, 2017. SECP Incorporation No. 0294969. FBR National Tax Number G699950. Both are independently verifiable on Government of Pakistan portals — you never have to take a claim on trust. We have operated in Pakistan's crypto market since 2022; incorporation formalised an existing operation as the regulatory framework matured, because regulatory advisory work requires an entity regulators, banks and Tier-1 exchanges can contract with and hold liable.

What we do

Regulatory advisory — PVARA and Virtual Assets Act 2026 readiness, VASP licensing strategy and application drafting, No Objection Certificate (NOC) filings, regulatory sandbox positioning, AML/CFT framework design, FMU goAML registration, FATF Travel Rule compliance, and FBR Section 285BAA reporting setup.

Market entry — SECP incorporation and corporate structuring for foreign-owned entities, banking and FX corridor design, Sharia-compliance positioning, coordination across legal, tax and accounting partner firms, and recruitment of Pakistan-domiciled compliance personnel. We also serve as resident director and local compliance representative for foreign exchanges needing a Pakistani point of accountability.

Ecosystem activation — institutional partnerships with Pakistani universities, hackathon and event production, localised educational content, and national press coordination.

Why exchanges choose us

Most advisers do half the job. Law firms produce filings but cannot open a market; agencies run campaigns but cannot read a regulation. CoinConnect does both — regulatory structuring and executed market entry — under one accountable entity. Pakistan is a 240M+ population market moving from an unregulated grey zone into a licensed regime under PVARA. Firms that structure correctly now will be the ones still operating in three years.

Our published track record

We name a client only where the agreement permits disclosure or we hold written consent. Publicly disclosable work includes a 2025 Pakistan market activation for Bybit Technology Limited, contracted at CEO level, covering institutional partnerships, a Karachi hackathon and localised content; and TEDx Clifton, where CoinConnect was lead organizer and onboarded CoinEx as title sponsor of the event's Qawali Night programming — an event covered by Pakistani national networks including Public News, ARY News, ABN News and GTV. Further engagements sit under NDA and are not described here in any form. A short public list reflects stricter confidentiality practice, not a shorter client list.

What we are not

We are not a licensed VASP and do not claim to be. PVARA licenses exchanges, custodians, brokers and token issuers — not consultancies. We do not custody assets, operate an exchange, or solicit funds. We advise clients through their own licensing process. Any firm marketing itself as a "PVARA-licensed consultancy" should be treated with caution; that category does not exist.
