Dan Rowland

I am an award-winning commercial photographer and photography teacher, recognized for my work in the genres of landscape and interior photography.  Many who have seen my work say they would know it anywhere because of its distinctive lighting and editing style.Prior to opening Dan Rowland Photography, I was a math tutor for Akron schools; and before that, an assistant to Jim Maguire of Maguire Photographics.   While employed by Jim, we photographed a wide variety of commercial assignments - ranging from microscopic printed circuit boards, to the enormous FirstEnergy Stadium, home of the Cleveland Browns. Every day was a new adventure and challenge, requiring a broad range of problem-solving skills to be successful.
