I walked them through our standard onboarding process, which was done using PowerPoint slides. Then, I also walked them through a partially complete configuration tool as a reference point for how we wanted our users to onboard. Using that information, they used Figma to design the platform and everything was successful.

DesignX completed the work on time and within budget. The team worked according to the project's timeline, and we communicated over email and Slack. DesignX provided UI/UX design services. We had various calls before starting pre-production meetings. We provided them with a basic UI prototype and documentation explaining some of the challenges we were facing and the things we wanted to focus on. From that point, DesignX conducted the necessary UX research. They researched and defined user personas to identify the clearest approach for designing the interface. We used their discovery research to test and strategize our marketing campaign. They used Figma to design everything.

What I loved about DesignX was that nothing was too big or too small for them. The project ended up having life on its own, and they never said that something was beneath them or that it required a lot of minacious work for them to handle. DesignX began with a discovery phase, reviewing what we’d developed to date and our project specs. They looked at the visualizations of our frontend and backend, and they helped develop a brand aesthetic and some potential product names. We worked together to refine the product, and DesignX also presented a few options for our logo and tagline. They provided wireframes and high-resolution design compositions, working on UX/UI for the frontend and backend for our various audience types. Even though their part of the project has wrapped up, they still provide advice and resolve minor issues.

We had a number of meetings where we discussed our brand guidelines and the message we were trying to convey to our audience. After making sure they fully understand our needs, DesignX helped us redesign our website and our web application. Our website had only three pages, so they added more sections and structure. They also made the website mobile responsive. We knew we needed to address some UI/UX issues with our web application, but DesignX took that to the next level and proposed a new wireframe that would make things more modern and responsive. They also provided valuable recommendations on how we could improve our website and our application. After that, our in-house team implemented those changes.

Along with coming up with our entire brand guide, their team also helped with logo design. For the UX portion of the project, I provided DesignX with feature function descriptions, workflows, and personas. I also relayed what our intent and goals were behind the usability of the app. Their team took all of that information and created wireframes and screens during that process.

DesignX was involved with our team throughout the design process, working in stages. We provided them with requirements documentation and then they did more research to help determine the best format for the reporting feature. We also provided DesignX with a couple of UI options and gathered their team’s feedback.

Their team gathered and synthesized existing user feedback as well as our product roadmap. Then, they deep dived the existing app and played around with it to understand the current state functionality. From there, they built out a work plan and iterated on it with us to ensure they were focused on the highest priority issues. Finally, they engaged in weekly design sprints where they would pull together updated designs each week and incorporate our feedback and direction during weekly basis.
