Fred's Interstate Transport

Founded in 1978, by Fred Borg, the company started operations using owner drivers to transport clients’ product.

Not long after, Fred’s purchased its first vehicle, a Kenworth K125. Then as clients grew in size and number, Fred’s steadily expanded and invested in its fleet to meet demand.

Today, our transport fleet includes more than 50 Kenworth and Western Star B-Double vehicles, with specialised load restraint compliant Sentinel trailer equipment.

We also leverage a sub-contractor network of more than 200 operators on a daily basis, providing us with greater flexibility to meet the ever-changing needs of our clients.

Our national operations are managed by our efficient team in Shepparton (Victoria) and ably supported by staff at facilities in Chipping Norton (Sydney) and Sumner (Brisbane), giving us excellent coverage along the Eastern seaboard.
