Client overview: The client intends to have the Halo Portal as “the singular destination for their Retail customers” and a key initiative in the digital delivery of it’s products and services.

The Portal will provide dashboards, reports, and administration for customers subscribed to any of it’s solutions; the vision is that the Portal will be used by their customers for all products including Labels, Tags, Hardware (RFID, EAS, IoT). Additionally, the Portal will also provide data and reports for any 3rd party partner solutions. The vision also includes providing analytics and analytics reporting using the Portal. The dashboard and reports should enable their customers to track operational objectives and achieve planned business goals.

Problem statement: 

• To verify business-critical issues which would have rendered the system unviable before going live.

• The mobile application should work seamlessly along with all its functionalities.

• Any data that is updated in the scenario should be reflected in all of the columns where it is required and get verified from the database

• Need to automate the flow task by task.

• Need to test the application and its stability.

• Have to write the automation test scripts 

• Have to do server automation for uploading configuration files

• Have to do the UI validation

• Have to validate the data showing on the portal from the database

• Provide the Gradle build instead of a typical java jar-based project for updating the code in the future.

• Provided the client with an automation testing script, eliminating the need for manual intervention every time a new feature is added.

• Comprehensive error analysis along with reports and documentation was provided, on each module that was tested.

• The wider range of devices available in Frugal inventory helped the client in efficient reviewing and understanding of the behavior of the application.
