Gearheart were a real pleasure to work with. As a first-time, female tech startup founder I was particularly nervous about selecting the right partner and I'm so glad I chose Gearheart. From the beginning they were incredibly supportive, and thorough and guided me through each and every stage of the process with ease. The team has such a high standard and it was amazing to see the product finally come to life. Throughout the team delivered on time and within budget which was brilliant. At the end of the project (and still today because they support me with ongoing technical support!), it felt like I had an extended group of co-founders who genuinely cared about the success of my business. I think this is so rare, particularly when all of our interactions were virtual and it was an incredibly niche business in the parenting space! The Gearheart team met all our expectations and performed all the work we entrusted to them with all the responsibility and diligence.
We hired Gearheart to develop the web application due to their high professionalism and extensive experience. Initially, we only handed over the front-end to them, but a month later we decided to delegate the back-end as well, as we were pleasantly impressed by their work.
We had regular meetings where the Gearheart team showed us the overall progress, demo, and where we planned the next iteration.

For 10 years of our cooperation, we only regret that we did not meet earlier.
We work with private securities and investment banking. The Olivia project has been in development for over 10 years. It is very important for us that all processes are carried out in accordance with the procedure established by law.
The team came up with a very flexible way to set up the workflow, we were able to fully automate the process of assigning tasks and reviewers, as well as go through the deal from start to finish without missing a single important step.
Security is very important to us, the personal data of our customers and information about transactions are stored very carefully. We have repeatedly successfully passed the audit. Data security at the highest level.
During the project, we carried out a redesign, changed the project management team from our side. Developers, testers, analysts and project managers have also changed. Olivia is an internal project management system developed for the US boutique broker dealer firm Growth Capital Services. With Olivia, GCS provides brokers with a platform to perform financial operations in the expanding market of private securities where investors and entrepreneurs find each other to reach investment deals.
Broker-dealers needed highly secure financial automation software to partially automate the workflow with many confidential documents. The system should have customizable access for users with different rights to view and edit information. It was then that Olivia's idea came true.
When GCS first tried to transfer all paper information into electronic form, it helped to get rid of the piles of paper on the desktop, but the first version of Olivia, although it stored documents correctly, did not automate much of the workflow. When the company approached Gearheart, it took us some time to fix it, but we soon came to the conclusion that the concept of the system needed to be changed. We have identified the key activities performed by GCS employees and customers and developed a workflow algorithm. To ensure smooth financial automation, a state-of-the-art project management tool has been created. It supports task assignment and workflow editing and has a built-in drag-and-drop form editor, as well as a flexible notification system.
H.M. Cole is an American company specializing in crafting custom clothing for all aspects of life: professional attire, casual wear, formal dress, and even outerwear. H.M. Cole has showrooms in America, where managers, consultants, and tailors will help you choose the style, fabric, and design of a suit and then take your measurements.
PURPOSE AND NEED
H.M. Cole turned to Gearheart to update their website to make clothing, and add more features. Our task was:
generally, update the overall look and feel of the application to be more stylish and sleeker
extend the measurements UI to allow tailors to enter measurements in all possible modes (fully custom, based on standard size, based on past orders) for all available types of products
update the product customization wizard to contain more options, becoming minimalistic and simple for customers, while powerful for tailors
The founders of ShootQ set a goal to meet the needs of photographers and develop their own web product that would offer broader and more relevant functionality than most standard CRM systems. The app was designed to solve real-world problems, allowing you to track customers, schedule photo sessions, track tasks, advertise studio services, and create email marketing templates.
PURPOSE AND NEED
The ShootQ photography management software had been on the market for ten years, and even though it operated well, the technology and the design were out of date. That’s why the owners have decided to develop the second generation of the application relevant to present-day business tasks.
When the Gearheart team received a request to upgrade the application, the design and the back end were already under implementation. Our major task was to develop the front end, including the application’s interface, but, over time, we took over the entire project.
Jiffsy is a private app designed to help fashion brands create and maintain a modern, mobile-first storefront with AI recommendations. The showcase app utilizes innovative Jamstack and PWA technologies, resulting in a fast and reliable storefront, which Shopify themes cannot match. Jiffsy guarantees growth in conversion rates for fashion e-commerce stores and is currently available to Shopify stores in the US, UK, Canada, and Ukraine.
MAIN PURPOSE AND NEED
Jiffsy's primary purpose is to provide fashion brands with a solution for creating a highly customized, modern storefront easily and quickly. Using cutting-edge technologies such as Jamstack and PWA, Jiffsy allows for a super-fast frontend and session-based recommendation system. Jiffsy aims to streamline the process of storefront creation and integration for fashion brands, without requiring deep knowledge of backend development.
Small businesses acquire tremendous amounts of data that need to be organized and stored. In order to track customers, products, tasks, projects, and other entities, users have to utilize an entire ensemble of separate tools or buy expensive enterprise systems and purchase consulting services to educate employees to use them. A better way would be to build their own tool that matches their workflows and data structure instead of adapting to existing solutions, but this requires technical expertise and generally takes much effort.
SeraCare is a prominent company in the medical diagnostics industry, supplying materials and reagents to facilitate infectious disease and genomic testing in laboratories and research centers around the world. They also provide technologies for ensuring diagnostic safety and accuracy.
Previously, we developed an interface for this company, used for implementing math calculations for their inner procedures. And then, we were onto the next project for them — a complex front-end application for supporting pilot studies.
With unique technologies, Plair SA aims to protect industries from airborne threats invisible to the naked eye. Patented intelligent bioaerosol sensors detect and identify outdoor airborne particles in real-time, measure allergens, pathogens, pollutants, and more. Microbial contaminants pose a threat to many industries. Plair solutions improve quality control and risk management.
PURPOSE AND NEED
The main purpose of the application is to receive, manage and analyze real-time air pollution data from intelligent bioaerosol sensors in any environmental conditions.
The application allows visitors to find their desired location in the mall or outside it in several ways. You can select one of the categories, search by name or select directly on the map.
PURPOSE AND NEED
The main purpose of this application is to operate 40 terminals placed inside Battersea Power Station. So it’s super easy to find the route from the user's current terminal location to the selected store, restaurant, or any other destination.
Ocilex is a platform for monitoring the construction process. It allows construction companies to control access to application features for both internal managers and external users. Managers can configure cameras and timelapse generation schedules. Users have a wide list of ways to track the building process.
PURPOSE AND NEED
To meet customer needs, the app needed to provide users with timelapses of construction from multiple viewpoints as well as the ability to compare snapshots taken on different dates using side-by-side comparison, magnifier, and a comparison between the snapshot and 3D model (BIM comparison).
WellCaster is a platform that helps coaches sell their training programs and helps their clients stick to a goal and complete programs. We implemented the first version of the application, then it was supported by other developers.
Neptyne is a startup product that provides users with cloud-based programmable spreadsheets. While supporting the standard actions and shortcuts that users expect from spreadsheet software, it also allows you to write and run Python code.
You can use all the power of Python coding by installing libraries, integrating third-party services and scheduling periodic tasks. Neptyne also provides interactivity through input widgets such as buttons, dropdowns, and checkboxes. By using them in combination with Python code, you can not only manage sheets, but also easily develop accessible applications for your needs.
PURPOSE AND NEED
The Neptyne team saw potential in empowering spreadsheets with a programming language and AI-powered coding assistant. Regular spreadsheet users can do their work as usual and reduce their efforts by using artificial intelligence to import data or create visualizations.
The ability to write code in Neptyne allows you to automate your workflow even more, turning an ordinary spreadsheet into real-time stock market analytics, sports predictions, or even a tic-tac-toe game board! AI is also good at generating such code.
Neptyne is well suited for any business that relies on spreadsheets but feels the need to automate work and reduce effort. This also works for scientific work, as researchers tend to use Excel and Python/R a lot and are not always happy because they are different tools.
We were approached by Inkitt to create a reader magnet for their Galatea e-book app. Reader magnets are calls to action at the end of a book that encourage readers to subscribe to an author's newsletter in exchange for exclusive content, usually an additional chapter of the book the reader has just read, or the first few chapters of the next book in the series.
MAIN PURPOSE AND NEED
The main goal of the Galatea reader magnet is to create landing pages for author's books that will interest the user and serve as a call to subscribe to the author's newsletter in exchange for exclusive content.
LOOQME (LookSMI) is an advanced automated monitoring and analytics system. On a 24/7 basis, it provides users with up-to-date information about their public reputation and the overall situation on the market. With LOOQME (LookSMI), companies can assess the quality of their PR campaigns, quickly discover the negative or adverse information (for example, during a crisis), run competitor intelligence, and follow the latest industry news. This system accommodates information from both traditional (newspapers, magazines, TV, radio) and digital (the Internet and social networks) media.
Apart from data collection and monitoring, the main LOOQME (LookSMI) gimmick is a convenient content visualization and analysis provided for its users.
At the time when we worked with the company, it was called LookSMI. Later, the company conducted greater reorganization and rebranding and continued its work on the market under the new name LOOQME.
Timer is a custom project management with time tracking system we originally created for our internal needs. Timer solves all of our management tasks: we plan all our project sprints in it, track time and progress, and generate salary reports and invoices.
PURPOSE AND NEED
One of our main goals is to be effective, which is why we adhere to a Scrum-based workflow. And, of course, in our work, it is very important to use time management tool. Since we estimate the cost of projects based on the hourly rates of our specialists, we need to correctly predict the time spent by the team and adhere to the deadlines. Based on the time spent, we pay the team's salary, fight overwork, allocate resources, and optimize processes.
Obviously, this requires a convenient and understandable tool. Since we did not find suitable project time tracking software from the existing ones on the market, as some were too simple and did not cover all our requirements (or conversely, too complex), we created our own product with the perfect set of features.
The original version was just a time-tracking and reporting add-on to an existing system. Later, our workflow evolved and we decided to add some more features to Timer.
