DOORS - Digital health platform | Harvard Medical School (Marketplace)

We came up with the UX/UI designs of one of Harvard Medical School's products. It's a project known as DOORS - we designed their different dashboards, i.e. Student, Instructor and Admin dashboards.

Education

Objective: Launch a minimum viable product to secure funding to expand.

Solution: We gathered an initial list of requirements and key features that were based on research and interviews conducted with schools, students and educational professionals to ensure that the users would have access to the tools they needed from the start. From there, we designed the user interface and user experience, and then developed the MVP from scratch. As the number of users increased, so did their needs — we continued to ship new features and tools for some time after launch.

Outcome: $2.5 Million Raised, Winner of 50 on Fire in 2017, Won Capital Factory, an Incubator Program

Hangurs is a community-driven rental marketplace for luxury wear and fashion that allows users to rent clothes and accessories among themselves. The app's features include a secure payment gateway, payment methods, cost breakdown for items, product catalog and member subscription. It also has an admin area where admins can access a user-friendly dashboard to manage data (add, update and delete items) and perform other admin-related tasks.

Objective: Design and develop MVP for beta test

Solution: With an initial list of requirements in hand, we designed Hangurs’ logo, brand style guide, the user interface and user experience. Our team worked with Hangurs’ users to get their honest feedback at each stage, allowing us to identify the essential features. We then developed the MVP from scratch and kicked off development using NativeScript and integrated several APIs. As the number of users increased, so did Hangurs’ needs — we continued to ship new features and tools for some time after launch.

About Hangurs: Hangurs sought to launch a first-of-its-kind app: a community-driven luxury fashion rental marketplace. Their idea was that users could have access to closets in their area, allowing them to find new looks that express their unique style for a fraction of the retail price, and owners could list their items as available for rent to earn extra income.

We came up with the UI/UX design and development of Flashtract, a B2B that specializes in Construction Billing Automation Software. With a mission of making the processing of construction payments easier and faster, Flashtract needed a website that would help their potential customers understand the benefits of their software, allow them to demo the product, and gain access to the answers to their questions through content or contacting the company.

Dumpling is a platform that empowers millions of people to run their own highly-personal grocery delivery businesses with just their phone. We helped Dumpling design and develop the mobile and desktop versions of their platform. Today, Dumpling Inc. has raised $5 million (USD) and has hired its own in-house team to keep up with user demand and expansion.

About: Dumpling allows budding entrepreneurs to run their own highly personal grocery delivery business from their phone. They sought to develop an MVP that would offer their users everything they need to manage, promote and grow their enterprise.

Solution: Dumpling contacted us to help them develop their MVP using MEAN stack. We first came up with all of the UI/UX designs, developing each page of their desktop and mobile websites from scratch using unique low-fidelity and high-fidelity mockups for each. After finalizing the user interface, we developed technical specification documents with all of the requirements and APIs needed to move forward with development. We developed the front-end using bootstrap for mobile and desktop devices. The backend leveraged Google and Yelp’s APIs to fetch data for the business owners. When the MVP launched, we had it prepped with MixPanel installed to analyze the traffic and user flows.

Outcome: $5 Million Raised
