Zytara is a new bright star in the FinTech sky. The company’s creators came up with the new concept of neobank for Generation Z and gamers. They approached Geniusee has been working with Zytara since 2018 on developing its FinTech product. The challenge they introduced to us was to create a financial application that allows setting the theme of your favorite esport team as a skin for your card. The concept implied financial education for Generation Z using gamification tools and teaching accountability for children. It also has to help parents manage spending limits, track transaction history, check savings, and impose restrictions.

Key challenges in this project included:

• Build a Digital banking platform and payment network designed for Millennial and Gen Z gamers and esports enthusiasts.

The Process

Our cooperation began with the 2-week Discovery Phase that we conducted with the ReactNative Technical Lead and with the Designer. We provided the MVP scope, timeline, and application design.

Our Geniusee team was eager to assist in creating a platform that enables companies to provide vesting bonuses to their employees in the form of loans. Through Keep, employees can receive their full bonus cash upfront, with the loan being repaid by the employer over time. The employer submits payment to Keep in advance, and the vesting schedule outlines how much of the loan is vested (forgiven) for the employee. If the employee leaves the company, everything that's not vested should be returned.

The service uses blockchain technology and a vast network of nodes worldwide to establish a decentralized VPN structure. This allows users to direct their Internet traffic through a network of volunteer-operated nodes. This innovative method is designed to offer enhanced privacy and more robust resistance to censorship than conventional VPN services. Mysterium VPN users can benefit from encrypted internet connections, concealed IP addresses, and the ability to access web content that might be restricted in their own regions.

We put all our effort to help students and teachers worldwide find each other for online music coaching. We tailored a music learning app with parental control, payment subscription, group lessons, messenger, and a calendar. It is just a small part of the whole functionality.

The Challenge

The client came up with the startup's idea and a clear vision of the business model. Swyft aimed to become a leader in the fast delivery of grocery supplies on the market in Poland. Groceries delivery in 15 minutes, to be precise.

The request was to deliver a mobile application for both Android and iOS. In addition, the Geniusee team had to create an admin panel with a lot of automated processes, payments, financial operations, geolocation services, and local polish services and stakeholders integrated.

The Process

We started working on Swyft project with the discovery phase. Geniusee engaged Busines Analyst to research the market and end-customers needs. Based on it, the Geniusee team has designed and developed an application for both Android and iOS. Also, we have been working on a challenging yet exciting solution — an administration panel. The client was engaged in every process at every stage to validate our steps and decisions. We conducted systematic communication, had demo sessions and reports, we constantly monitored our progress. Some clients' requests have been changed during the process, but we managed to adapt and deliver the best result possible.

The Outcome

The Geniusee team designed and developed an application for both Android and iOS and an admin panel to manage the orders. An app was also launched on the Polish market (Warsaw). The admin panel implies two roles: administrator and store manager.

The Challenge

A 5-star application, “Drum – Build Your Link in Bio”, aims to instantly create a bio page that is a perfect product for creators, influencers, celebrities, and people who care about their personal brands. But it is more than just a link in bio app and solution. Drum is a platform designed for creators to engage with their followers, earn money, and free up time to focus on their love of creating! That was the actual challenge when two years ago Drum team came to Geniusee. When we say "team," we mean founders Rob Frohwein, Kathryn Petralia, and Troy Deus. They are also known for launching a loan platform Kabbage.
 

The Process

The Genuisee’s main task was to develop web and mobile applications, both front-end and back-end. Workflow started with the idea validation and design process. Geniusee created all the necessary timeframes and budgets for both optimistic and pessimistic scenarios. The front-end development was all done from scratch; Geniusee used some of Drum's APIs for back-end development. Also, the QAs, project managers, and designers were involved in the development process of the link in bio app.

Geniusee provided back-end refactoring for Drum products and moved mobile applications built on Objective-C and Java to Swift and Kotlin to ensure easy maintenance and reliability during the development process.

Our client, Silibrain LLC, is a technology solutions company founded in 2018. The company aims to improve human life. Its mission is to make the latest technological advances available to millions by providing high-caliber, more affordable solutions to all. To make such a dream possible, the company focuses on designing electronics and software to meet and exceed client expectations. When the Silibrain founders came to us, their goal was to enhance their team in creating an automated platform for doctors and patients. Communication and history taking, sensitive data storage and processing, medical records, and doctors’ prescriptions for medication had to be managed from one intuitive system. All the processes had to be automated and well structured to enable doctors to do their work faster, more confidently, and precisely. The main target audience of the project was private hospitals and clinics in developing countries.

Key challenges in this project included:

• Rethinking the pattern of the provision of healthcare services.
• Improving the essential functionality of the electronic health record app.

From the beginning, Crave Retail was an Apple-first company with our mobile enterprise applications for retailers all built for iOS. "While this was suitable for most retailers in North America, retailers beyond North America seem to lean towards the Android environment. In early 2020, a multi-billion-dollar retailer was looking for our Interactive Fitting Room experience but insisted that they would only move forward if we could run on Android", - says Matthew Cyr, CEO and Co-Founder at Crave Retail. His company needed to find a reliable partner with rich experience across engineering, design, and a project management team to enable Crave Retail to build and deploy its solution within a few months.

• Solution

For Crave retail Geniusee has developed 2 enterprise mobile applications that solve the double-sided problem for every shopper visiting the fitting room. The Fitting Room application allows shoppers to see every item in the fitting room with them, the ability to request new sizes and colors, and see outfit recommendations right from the fitting room. The Associate Application allows them to provide fast and personalized service to those shoppers making requests.

• Results

As a result, retailers have seen the average basket size of shoppers visiting fitting rooms increase by over 22%. It’s pretty simple when you think about it; if you get more shoppers into the highest converting space in your stores - fitting rooms - with more items and offer the best customer service, shoppers will spend more. Some retailers have used Crave to identify that shoppers visiting fitting rooms spend over 30% more than shoppers who don’t and the percent of traffic going into fitting rooms. With these two data points, retailers can continuously improve and optimize fitting room performance.

Our challenge was to develop an App that will allow users to reduce stress, establish more focus and calm in their lives, find resources to help manage stress and improve mental outlook, and add more healthy habits to daily life. What is more, the tool was aimed at helping to keep track of users' healthy habits and serve as a reminder to practice them to incorporate them into daily routine.

The Ajuma company was founded by a couple after the birth of their child. They wanted to protect their baby from the harmful effects of ultraviolet radiation sunburn and potentially generated skin cancer in adulthood.
Since we began our collaboration, Ajuma has raised new fundings from European startup accelerators such as the Business Incubation Programme from the European Space Agency (ESA) and from private investors after after pitching on a local TV show “Lion’s cage” (the analog of the Shark Tank)

Realm Five develops devices that collect various data, such as soil moisture, rainfall, amount of water in tanks, condition of tractors and their location, etc. from different parts of agriculture. Therefore, we decided to use Swift and Kotlin to write an IoT application. The code written in Swift looks very simple, the language is intuitive to every programmer. Kotlin is very similar to Swift in its laconicism. Also, these languages ​​allowed us to bring to life an excellent and convenient UX/UI design developed by our team.

In cooperation with RealmFive, we have chosen Scrum. This methodology helped us to provide the client with features on demand and quickly adapt to new requirements. We use Slack and Jira, have everyday meetings and work in weekly sprints.
