About Gulf Intermodal Services
Gulf Intermodal Services is part of the IMC Companies (www.imccompanies.com)- a privately held trucking company specializing in the transportation of international containerized shipments. GIS was formed in 2009 to focus on the Gulf coast ports- Houston, New Orleans, and Mobile. GIS expanded into Laredo in 2011 to service the Houston / Laredo tradeline. The company currently operates 175 power units in our operating area and recently relocated our Houston headquarters to a 10 acre CDS site in LaPorte, TX.
