Haynes Trucking

Haynes Trucking was originally started in 1963 as Alvin Haynes Trucking. In October 1982, the company became Alvin Haynes & Sons, Inc., with the addition of Alvin's sons Scott & Mitch as partners. In 2003, the company became Haynes Trucking, LLC., and is still operating under that name today. Haynes Trucking specialized in hauling construction materials for highways, city streets, large building sites along with any aggregate material from quarries and sand yards.

In 2003, Haynes Trucking, LLC., became a distribution for Detroit Salt Company, and has a large stockpile of 50,000 tons for use in the Lexington and central Kentucky area. This salt is strictly for the treatment of roadways in the winter months. Haynes Trucking will take any major credit card as payment for salt and trucking fees.
