Whenever we need mobile development, we turn to Horus. We strongly believe in our collaboration and trust their ability to deliver excellent products. For this project, we had to develop and launch two different applications within a very strict deadline. The first was an Android app integrating RFID technology, and the second was a social feed app for both Android and iOS. This project was for a travel agency that specializes in student travel groups. We created an application to help monitor and organize the students within these groups. The RFID app addressed two critical needs: tracking student attendance at activities and providing quick access to their medical history. Each student was assigned a bracelet containing their profile information, allowing group leaders to track activities and doctors to access medical information swiftly in case of an emergency. The social feed application enabled parents to see updates on their children's trips and the outcomes of their activities. This year, the company managed four trips, each with 650 passengers, effectively using these applications. The RFID application allowed group leaders to monitor attendance and gave doctors quick access to medical histories by simply scanning the RFID bracelets. We worked as one team using scrum methodologies, holding daily meetings to track progress and weekly meetings with the client to ensure we met all deadlines and expectations. Horus's team was passionate and knowledgeable about mobile development, allowing us to focus on other aspects of the project while they handled the mobile development seamlessly.

Our mobile application, created over five years ago, needed significant adjustments to enhance user experience and functionality. Without in-house engineers, we sought an external partner for the redesign and rebuild. After an extensive search, we narrowed our options to two developers and ultimately selected Horus based on their outstanding proposal, fair pricing, and willingness to train our team post-launch. Once Horus was selected, we held a series of meetings to discuss adjustments and goals. Within the first few weeks, we received mock-ups of the new design, incorporating our requested changes. After our approval, Horus implemented the changes and provided us with a test version to validate the improvements. Upon successful validation, the updates were deployed to the app store. We were assigned a project manager as our main point of contact, supported by two frontend developers, two backend developers, and a QA resource. Communication with the project manager was seamless, with weekly phone calls and ongoing Slack communication. Horus kept us updated frequently and responded quickly to our queries. Despite our budget constraints, Horus managed to adjust their quote to fit our needs without compromising on quality. The redesigned app has received excellent feedback from our customers, and we are highly satisfied with the outcome.

Previously, we had worked with some of Horus's team members on other projects and were well-acquainted with their quality of development and commitment. For this project, we required an Android app to host our web app, a mobile point of sale for bus tickets, which needed to access geolocation, the integrated printer, and the NFC reader. The app used the SDK of the Android device to interact with its integrated devices. We validated the app and continued with our own development, while Horus integrated the remaining devices.
