Established in Portland, Maine in 1960, Hutchins Trucking Company is a family-owned and operated North East regional for-hire carrier. Hutchins Trucking Co. specializes in refrigerated hauling and operates several dry vans as well. While Hutchins Trucking Co. started with a single truck and trailer hauling fish and seafood from Portland, Maine’s waterfront, it has serviced numerous customers and hauled a variety of commodities over the years ranging from groceries to ocean containers, paper products, fresh produce, and machinery.

For nearly 60 years, Hutchins Trucking Co. has prided itself on its reputation in safety, professionalism, and on-time delivery. Our equipment is new (all tractors are 2012 or newer) and maintained to the highest level. Proudly, numerous Hutchins Trucking Co. drivers have received the prestigious Million-Mile Safe Driving award from the American Trucking Associations (ATA) with several earning the 2-Million-Mile award. Hutchins Trucking has been an active member of the Maine Motor Transportation Association for nearly 50 years with two Hutchins Trucking executives serving as past presidents of MMTA.
