Hyland Shipping Agencies

Hyland Shipping was founded by my father, Jim Hyland back in 1983. As a company we initially specialised in the transportation of full loads and group-age of dry and refrigerated products between Spain, Portugal and Ireland. Because of our initial expertise and interest in the wine business we became the market leader in the movement of wine into Ireland from around the world. This enabled the growth of Hyland Shipping into a leading freight forwarding business and as a result we expanded our European network to include services to and from France, Italy, Holland, Belgium, Germany and the UK on a daily basis. You now know us as Hyland.

In order to facilitate this expansion we moved to our purpose built 20,000 Sq.ft. warehouse in 2001 to its existing depot just off the M50, close to Dublin Port and our global capital cities road network to the rest of the country. In recent years we have improved this network, adding services between Ireland and Greece, Turkey, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Switzerland.
