About the company

Tinga Nutrition Inc. is a Canada-based startup that was founded by Robert Fedun and his partners. The app is designed to enhance human well-being and help people support health by offering needed knowledge about the food we eat on a daily basis.

About the project

Starting from the already created application, we became familiar with the already existing development, with the business itself and also with the problems and pain points that had to be addressed and fixed. One month was the stipulated time to take care of what was agreed. The biggest challenge we faced in this case was the lack of documentation, which left us with the option of understanding everything from existing code alone. Getting what was expected in the agreed period was our priority and objective.

How we worked with the client

From the beginning of the project we already got deeply involved in order to understand what awaited us. We realized that the client needed to be constantly involved, therefore we proposed and carried out weekly and daily meetings. These meetings were given in order not only to present progress, but also to raise doubts, queries, options, opinions, among others. We delivered on Friday, tested over the weekend, and feedback was provided on Monday. The client was constantly involved, with a total of 4 deliveries to be able to carry out tests in the process.

The Solution

Still a work in progress, we managed to consolidate the product with the needs that the client considered necessary to go to market and market the product up to that moment. We are currently working on the product, improving it and adding items and ideas that came from real user experiences.

Technisys needed to fix these problems and develop alternatives so they don't happen again; in the same way they needed to maintain the system to avoid new problemas similar to those ones.

How we worked with the client

We have meetings with marketing/security team in order to understand the issues they were having. They were estimated and fixed while we were working together with Technisys Marketing team.

The Solution

About the company

IOVlabs builds low-cost, highly secure, easy-to-use platforms for the new global economy. Harnessing the benefits of Bitcoin with a suite of tools to create and protect growth, we’re planting the seeds for global financial freedom.

About the project

With blockchain we want to create a new financial system, to support the use cases of the traditional financial system the following are required:

  • Number of transactions per second
  • Cost of transactions
  • Confirmation rates

Blockchain does not scale as a technology to support the above attributes. That is why second or third layer solutions must be created, such as offchain payment solutions.

How we worked with the client

Using an agile approach, we executed sprints that were two weeks in length to quickly demonstrate our abilities and receive prompt feedback for iterative development.

The Solution

Offchain payment solution. We have developed an off-chain payment system that supports thousands of transactions per second, without fees and with confirmation times in the order of milliseconds.

About the company

Life Cinemas has several movie and entertainment complexes dedicated to the exhibition of quality cinema throughout Uruguay. Since its inception it has earned the reputation as a high-quality venue for holding business events, Avant Premières, private functions, film festivals, launches, workshops, and training sessions. It was also the first cinema complex in the country to incorporate a 3D room as part of its entertainment offerings.

About the project

Life Cinemas needed to increase its online presence through its website and mobile app while also integrating event sales with business intelligence.

How we worked with the client

Using a phased approach, we worked very closely with Life Cinemas to create a solid web presence while developing an integrated mobile app for customers to purchase tickets online for upcoming events. The client’s front-end was designed for compatibility with multiple web browsers that included pixel-perfect designs, animations, and a complex user interface (UI). As part of this project, we also developed back-end information processes to support Life Cinema’s critical business requirements and marketing efforts.

The Solution

The solution we ultimately built and deployed provided real-time, mobile customer engagement. As a result of this increased engagement, the company’s digital channel sales nearly doubled from what they were prior to the solution. Furthermore, more than 40 business intelligence reports were developed for both the marketing and operational teams. These reports provide accurate and actionable insights to reduce costs and increase revenue.

About the company

Based in Genève, Switzerland, Lamden is a developer devoted to helping its clients build and generate revenue from blockchain powered smart apps. These blockchain powered apps facilitate the process of recording transactions and tracking assets in a business network.

About the project

Lamden needed an Ethereum Proof-of-Authority Network application that could serve as a managed and decentralized ledger for USD tokens. Each of these tokens represents one U.S. Dollar in a Lamden business bank account. Users would be able to sign up and deposit funds into the platform. Proof-of-Authority (PoA) is an algorithm used with blockchains that delivers comparatively fast transactions through a consensus mechanism based on identity. In PoA-based networks, transactions and blocks are validated by approved accounts, known as validators.

How we worked with the client

We took 100% control of the Ethereum Proof-of-Authority Network application from Lamden. Using an agile framework, we worked closely with the client by providing demonstrations every two weeks to show progress and address any questions or doubts that arose during the process. We have been proactively adding features while making the application stronger through the development of more controls.

The Solution

The Ethereum Proof-of-Authority Network application is now in use supporting the blockchain technology at Lamden. We continue to make incremental and iterative improvements to provide more functionality for developers of apps using blockchain to secure their financial transactions.

Telecommunication

About the company

Entel, a telecommunications group operating in Chile and Peru, has positioned itself as one of the leading mobile operators in the Americas. Currently, it has more than seven million mobile phone subscribers. Entel in Peru holds first place in “Best Customer Experience” in Latin America according to Best Customer Experience (BCX). In 2018, it was also recognized as one of the most admired companies nationwide. Furthermore, it is the highest growth telecommunications company in Peru and the fifth worldwide.

About the project

Entel needed a digital tool that could easily and effectively resolve customer issues, tasks, and complaints regarding the services provided by its telecommunications workforce. This same app would also schedule the service visits of technicians to client homes.

How we worked with the client

Infuy traveled to Entel’s offices in Santiago, Chile to conduct full discovery and requirements gathering for the project. We met with the client’s IT team, stakeholders, and other subject matter experts within their organization. Working closely with the Entel team, we were able to define all phases and tasks required to meet their important business requirements. During the execution of the project, we used an agile methodology to make incremental deliveries of workable product that was validated by the final users during each sprint until the project was complete.

The Solution

We created a web tool that met all of Entel’s business requirements by using Amazon Web Services (AWS) for the architecture along with our many years of accumulated expertise working in Java. The web tool we developed allowed Entel take a hierarchal approach to tracking all prioritized issues and tasks within the responsible business units at the telecommunications company.

Transportation & Logistics

About the company

DATIVA, based in Latin America, regularly impacts the digital revolution by developing tailor-made solutions based on the Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, and the intelligent management of assets using technologies such as machine learning and artificial intelligence. These solutions have a wide range of practical applications for linking the world to the Internet through “connected cars” and “smart luminaries.”

About the project

DATIVA wanted to develop a practical, real-time car monitoring service that could provide critical data about all the vehicles connected to the system through the Internet. It was to be specifically designed for companies that wanted to gain better control over their fleets through a web-enabled application.

How we worked with the client

We partnered with DATIVA to develop an application making it possible to obtain information directly from a vehicle’s onboard computer that could then be sent via the Internet to designated computer centers for viewing and analysis in real-time. Specifically, through a web interface or mobile app, it allows users to view in real-time the internal data of the vehicle―speed, RPM, battery charge, temperature―as well as location tracking with alerts related to permissible driving zones, speed, and detection of unsafe driving patterns. This solution is now under serious consideration for use by one of the largest telephone utilities in Uruguay.

The Solution

We created the back-end application programming interface (API) as well as the front-end interface using Laravel and VueJS which allows users to see vehicle information in real-time. Data is gathered from information that devices send to a socket server. Once we have parsed all the binary information, the application displays and analyzes all the vehicle information, driving habits, and behaviors along with other custom data required by clients using this advanced technology.

Transportation & Logistics

About the company

The "Compañía Uruguaya de Transportes Colectivos S.A." (CUTCSA) is the largest transportation company in Uruguay and the largest private operator in South America, in terms of number of collective transportation units. Provides urban transport service in Montevideo since 1937.

About the project

The main public transport company in Uruguay needed Android/IOS apps, to let the users know their buses fleet real-time position. Infuy created those applications on time, and proposed a lot of ideas to the client to improve and give them the best user experience ever. The stack used was: Android and Objective-C.

How we worked with the client

They reach us with an idea to have apps in both plataforms, to provide to the main public transportation in Montevideo clients, a way to know where do their buses are located in real time. Besides that, also provide some info about bus lines, stops, main places, schedules, etc. We present a road map with the timelines about our deliveries, and worked with together with the client, providing feedback, and requesting new stuff.

The Solution

We upload to the main stores for Android and IOS, an application that shows in real time, the buses positions and the time left to arrive to the bus stop the user is located.

Insurance

About the company

Car Insurance App Built with Blockchain Technology to Provide a Fully Transparent Experience for Consumers.

About the project

Infuy developed an end-to-end solution for providing transparent car insurance online using blockchain technology. The use of blockchain technology for issuing car insurance has attracted consumers due to the high level of distrust that currently exists in the industry.

How we worked with the client

Basically, this project was envisioned as a fully transparent solution for purchasing automobile insurance and filing claims to address existing conflicts of interests in the industry. These conflicts―directly tied to the profits of the companies―frequently result in consumer claims being significantly underpaid (or possibly denied) as well as rampant overcharging of insurance policy premiums. For this project, Infuy used blockchain technology to specifically provide consumers with full transparency inside the scoring calculation that defines the value of the policy. We use an Agile methodology during all the process.

The Solution

The solution was implemented using Hyperledger Fabric 1.0 as a Blockchain platform. We developed chain codes for information tracking. These chain codes were specifically used to track vehicle information and save it in the blockchain along with the scoring calculation that is based on information received from vehicles. As part of the project, Infuy also developed two APIs, three SPAs, and one mobile application. The stack used for the APIs was Java, Spring (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Data Cache, Spring Job), MySQL, and Maven. The SPAs were developed in ClojureScript, Reframe, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap. The Mobile App for Android was developed with Java.

Gambling

About the company

Bitfresh is the first community-driven iGaming platform where everyone wins.

About the project

Bitfresh is aimed to be a bridge for users to be able to exchange wax tokens back and forward from Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and Binance (BSC) blockchains. On ETH andBSC they can exchange the blockchain currency, but also fungible tokens corresponding to each blockchain. Tokens corresponding to each of the above mentioned blockchains currencies/tokens have been created on WAX blockchain and a 1:1 correspondence is provided when exchanging.

How we worked with the client

We worked effectively through several agile approaches including the use ofJira for project management, in order to track every task that needed to be completed, and Google Meets. Product was delivered based on sprints of two weeks that were subject to iteration, feedback and continuous improvements

The Solution

A back-end was built with NestJS in order to interact with all of the above mentioned blockchains and expose all the necessary API endpoints to achieve the exchange between WAX and the blockchains in matter. Moreover, a tokenization of each of blockchains currencies/tokens was carried out on WAX blockchain so as to provide and a 1:1 correspondence on every exchange done. On BTC and ETH/BSC to WAX flows, Hierarchical Deterministic Wallets (HD Wallets) were used for addresses generation. Every address provided to users is derived from one extended public key, one for each blockchain, making it safe towards possible attacks. Smart Contracts were used to handle all transferences needed on WAX to ETH/BSC exchanges and a local bitcoin-core node was used for BTC flows as it was safer than using a public one.

BitGive has established strong partnerships and raised funds with well-known nonprofits including Save the Children, The Water Project, TECHO, Medic Mobile, and more.

How we worked with the client

Our work with BitGive included a team manager responsible for overseeing all cross-functional team members geo-located in Uruguay and Argentina. The project was managed in an agile fashion through JIRA working with sprints that were two weeks in length along with daily meetings. Skype or Google hangout meetings were occasionally held on a need-to basis. Communication was mainly conducted through JIRA by providing comments on assigned tasks. Email was also used as well.

The Solution

Infuy was part of the team that developed an application for accepting global donations. This application provided a layer of transparency to the donations so they could easily be secured and tracked through the use of blockchain technology. We were placed in charge of the development for both the front-end and back-end of the application, including communication with the Blockchain API. The back-end was built with Node JS under the infrastructure of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Jenkins CI, while React JS was used for the front-end development.

About the company

Bauer Media Group is a German multimedia conglomerate headquartered in Hamburg. It is Europe’s largest magazine publisher and one of the world’s leading media houses. Worldwide it owns more than 600 magazines, over 400 digital products, 50 radio and TV stations as well as print shops, postal, distribution, and marketing services. Annual revenue is 2.24 billion EUR with 11,500 employees around the globe.

About the project

Bauer Media Group wanted to increase leads within their digital marketplace. The publisher runs many “Click to Win” competitions in the UK and Europe on sites that typically start with the prefix “winit”. Wishing to extend these promotions into other marketing channels―specifically radio audiences―they engaged us to create a custom application for the Alexa platform to deliver these promotions via the Internet and voice technology. The application was designed to function as a popular quiz contest with prizes awarded to users.

How we worked with the client

Using an agile approach, we executed sprints that were two weeks in length to quickly demonstrate our abilities and receive prompt feedback for iterative development. We organized as a team of four people divided into three groups: Alexa app, back-end API, and front-end application.

The Solution

Ultimately, we developed a back-office application that the administrator at Bauer Media Group could easily use to create different promotional sweepstakes and contests on Alexa for specific business units within the publishing conglomerate. As a result of our work, Bauer Media Group can now acquire and easily download Comma Separated Value (CSV) file data for all leads procured from each of its radio promotions delivered through Alexa. This includes the email, address, and phone number for each user participating in a promotional sweepstakes or contest.
