Inspec Marketing

InSpec Marketing is an industrial B2B marketing agency based in Busselton, Western Australia, working with clients across the country. We work across four sectors: mining and METS, manufacturing, agribusiness, and technology. These are industries with long sales cycles, technical buyers, and procurement processes that generalist marketing agencies routinely misread.

Founder Jim Robertson spent years on the tools before moving into marketing, and that background shapes how the agency works. Technical capability is the hardest thing for an industrial business to communicate well. Engineers, plant managers and procurement leads want evidence of competence, not polish. Our job is to extract what a client's team already knows and build it into marketing that those buyers actually recognise as credible.

Our work covers strategy and positioning, brand and website development, content and copywriting, LinkedIn systems, and campaign management and reporting. Rather than selling individual channels, we build a complete marketing system around a client's sales cycle and buyer, then run it as an ongoing programme.

Recent results include 29% pipeline growth and a 52% win rate for MineScope Services within six months, a 100% increase in first-time clients across the 2024/25 financial year, 2.5x volume growth in a single month for Ord Valley Turf, and doubled website traffic for MOVUS following a full brand rebuild.

Engagements run as 12-month programmes, billed monthly, with no lock-in contracts. Pricing is scoped to the work after a discovery call rather than sold off a rate card.
