John Waddell founded our firm in 1953, and was joined shortly thereafter by his wife, Fern. Both John and Fern were pioneers in establishing the public accounting profession, both locally and nationwide. John was involved in establishing nationwide professional standards that govern financial reporting of compilations and reviews. Fern followed in John's footsteps, and was the first female president of the Sacramento Chapter of the Society of CPAs.

Current firm Directors continue to provide professional leadership in the CPA community. Greg Burke recently served as President of the California Society of CPAs.
