The predictability of the project output was top notch. We got what we needed, when we needed it

Our experience with Kanda has been very team- and communiation-oriented, and has made efficient use of our time. Kanda is very easy to work with. Their engineering leadership is very effective at listening to our needs and finding resources that can do the work we have outlined. Many of their developers are experienced and very talented and a number of them played a significant role in helping us accomplish our deliverables. When there is an issue with performance Kanda is quick to try to remedy the situation.

They have a number of very talented engineers and leaders.

What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?

Time zones are always a challenge, but that is the nature of the business.

Some of the projects with one engineer embedded in a NA team didn't go as well as the ones where there was a Kanda team.

Great team! Highly skilled, highly professional and highly responsive. Ability contribute on a complex project.

We've worked with Kanda for almost 10 years. While they can do a lot more, we've only used them for QA. We've had various team members contribute to our projects over the years, but they typically serve for at least a year long stint. Our current resources are 1+ years and 3 + years with the team. If we ever encounter an issue the client management team is extremely responsive and has always quickly resolved any of our concerns. I'll also mention our products are very complex and assume a lot of domain knowledge in a niche field within the healthcare IT space. The QA resources have had very little issue getting up to speed with solid investment in training.

Over 20 years ago, this product was developed. Kanda has continued to support and maintain it over the years as new technologies have emerged. They host the application which is a reference product for colleges and universities. Kanda's support is thorough, timely, and very dependable.

Kanda developed an on-line system of a db of electronic journals of opinion, a historical archive, and an authentication process so subscribers may access this content locally or remotely. It was flexible in design so new content from new publishers could easily be added which we have done over the years. It has been a very dependable design that some customers have been using for nearly 25 years.

What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?

Any time there is a problem, Kanda is always their to help solve it. They support us very well.

Any time I've had to add new content to the application - Kanda gets the work done on time and meets our scheduled needs

What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?

I wish I had more time to spend with them to discuss emerging technologies and capabilities. I would benefit from their technical knowledge.

Created by veterans at Harvard Business School, RallyPoint leverages the private sector’s best practices to the benefit of our military users and helps modernize the world’s largest and most complex hierarchical organizations. RallyPoint is an online, collaborative environment for active and veteran military personnel.

RallyPoint asked Kanda software to design their website, along with their front-end and back-end. Our team designed the technical architecture and user interface and developed the RallyPoint website. Along with it, Kanda performed all manual and automated quality assurance.

The Client is a real estate company that uses proprietary technology and data to provide a thorough rent comparison analysis in seconds for any address in The United States. Renters, landlords, and investors use Rentometer to help them guide rental housing decisions.

Rescufy

Rescufy is a state-of-the-art mobile health platform which enables individuals or caregivers to quickly and easily secure help with the touch of a button whenever a severe allergic reaction such as anaphylaxis occurs. Every year, roughly 23 million Americans face the risk of potentially life-threatening effects resulting from anaphylaxis, which is commonly caused by food allergies, insect bites or stings, and medications. And despite the fact that the primary treatment for anaphylaxis is an epinephrine injection, an alarming majority of patients do not carry or even have an epinephrine auto-injector. Considering the fact that 18% of patients lose consciousness during serious allergic reactions, emergency preparedness is vital.

Rescufy has teamed up with Kanda Software to help demonstrate the Proof of Concept for a mobile application that would send text messages to 911 with relevant information and subsequently call 911 via speakerphone in the event that the user goes into anaphylactic shock and could potentially lose consciousness before help arrives.

Over the course of a few months, Kanda designed and developed the user interface and front-end of Rescufy’s mobile eHealth solution, enhancing UX and streamlining in-app navigation while simultaneously improving existing technical functionalities. Kanda’s team of expert engineers took several critical elements into careful consideration when designing the interface, empowering first responders and emergency contacts to act appropriately in case of emergency.

Kanda delivered the project in a timely manner and within budget, while strictly adhering to HIPAA guidelines. With Kanda’s assistance, Rescufy’s refined application went on to win UPenn’s AppitUP Challenge in 2014.

College Interactive is a web platform and mobile application that helps colleges and
universities drive enrollment by providing prospective students with seamless and
convenient access to counselors, communications, alerts, applications, programs, and
events throughout the entirety of their admissions journey, all in a single centralized
hub. CI’s state-of-the-art platform connects directly to any recruitment and admissions
ecosystem without the need for IT integration, conveniently giving students all of the
tools they need to successfully navigate the admissions process and ultimately pursue a
higher education that meets their goals and aspirations.

The College Interactive app experience is the most affordable and effective conversion
tool in higher academia. Because of CI’s automated alerts, reminders, and nudges, a
significantly larger percentage of quality candidates track seamlessly throughout the
entire admissions funnel, resulting in higher enrollment rates.

Kanda Software was initially approached by College Interactive in order to assist in
Native application development and architecture. In other words, Kanda designed, built
and tested the College Interactive mobile application at every stage of development in
order to ensure the highest standard of performance and quality pertaining to user
interface and experience across all platforms.

Shortly following the launch and release of their application, College Interactive quickly
reached the Top 10 apps on the iOS App Store Top Charts within the Education
category. And, since 2014, over 300,000 undergraduate and graduate students have
utilized College Interactive to research their educational options and enroll at hundreds
of U.S. colleges and universities.
