In order to continue to provide the quality of service his clients deserve, Lewis regularly attends continuing education classes to stay abreast of the latest in tax law changes. He also passed the required testing to become a Certified Tax Professional (CPT) and later achieved the status of Certified Practitioner of Taxation (CPTx), a designation of individuals who exhibit a high level of skill mastery in the area of taxation.

Lewis Leatherman has attained the status of an IRS Enrolled Agent (E.A.) 1 by successfully completing the IRS-administered test. This status identifies tax professionals to the client as specialists and insures the client that the E.A. has kept up to date on the latest tax law changes. The E.A. status allows Lewis the right to represent clients before the IRS from examination through appeals.
