Libeara is an asset tokenisation platform incubated by SC Ventures (the innovation, fintech investment, and ventures arm of Standard Chartered). The company's name is a portmanteau of Liberty (inspired by the first retail US Treasuries) and Aerarium (the ancient Roman Treasury).

The platform is designed to create more accessible, transparent, and secure capital markets by allowing organizations to create, issue, and manage real-world assets (RWAs) on-chain using public blockchain ledger records.
