LLC Starten

LLC-Starten is a formation service for US Limited Liability Companies, built for founders from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Since 2021 the company has helped freelancers, e-commerce sellers and digital entrepreneurs set up a US LLC without a US residency or Social Security Number.

The service is a flat fee of 599 EUR and covers the complete formation: name check, filing of the Articles of Organization with the Secretary of State, Registered Agent for the first year, a US business address, the Operating Agreement and the application for the Employer Identification Number (EIN) with the IRS.

Clients receive all documents digitally and can open US business accounts and payment services such as Mercury, Wise or Stripe afterwards. What sets LLC-Starten apart is German-language support from a team that works with DACH founders every day.

Clients get one contact person who knows the typical questions of non-US residents: which state to choose (Wyoming or Florida in most cases), how the EIN application works without an SSN, and which annual duties follow the formation (Annual Report, BOI Report, Form 5472).

Optional add-ons include ITIN application, US phone number setup and ongoing compliance reminders.
