Our overall experience with Managed Code has been exceptional. Our collaboration with Managed Code was initiated with a clear objective: to leverage their expertise in cross-platform mobile app development to create Winkt, an innovative app designed to strengthen community ties by connecting locals with events, offers, and each other. We were looking for a partner who could not only understand our vision but also translate it into a seamless, user-friendly experience across various devices and platforms. Throughout the development process, what we appreciated most was Managed Code's commitment to quality and its client-centric approach. We hired Managed Code to develop a robust platform that would connect multiple vendors, buyers, and couriers in one place, making shopping fast and convenient. I found them online. We requested quotes from several software development companies and selected Managed Code since they offered a lower rate. We started with the discovery phase to define the concept of our solution and outline user flows. Then, they team designed wireframes and user interfaces for vendors, customers, and couriers. Once we approved the designs (with a couple of changes), they got down to prototyping. The following steps included marketplace development and testing. We worked with a PM, a DevOps, eight developers, and a tester. We received a bug-free, easy-to-use solution. Their team managed to meet our expectations. The project management was excellent. They were open to communication and always kept us in the loop about the project progress by providing detailed reports. Everything was done on time.

We decided to create a fitness app for Android and iOS. Our goal was to build an app that would allow users to set fitness goals, plan personalized exercise routines, save statistics, track their progress, etc. Our marketing manager had worked with them at her previous job so we included Managed Code into our list of potential app dev partners. To make an informed choice, we interviewed several teams. They showed deep interest in what we were planning to create, asking questions and making suggestions. The major project steps included prototyping, creating UI/UX design, developing the app, and testing. We worked with a PM, 4 devs, a UI/UX designer, and a QA. The app is easy to use and has a simple but appealing design. It performs well technically, too. They gave us access to the tracking platform, so I could always see the project’s progress. We used various communication tools. The project lasted for 6 months. Each step was finalized as planned, with no delays.

We run a legal specialists aggregator platform to help users easily find available lawyers “near me” or in another specific location. We hired them to help us develop a custom backend and a hybrid mobile app for our project. After we approved them as our mobile app dev partner, we organized a kick-off meeting where we discussed our goals, defined the project scope and timeline, selected the tracking tool, etc. The team at Managed Code started by creating the UI/UX design for our app. Then, we outlined the requirements for each module. When the modules and design were completed, they put together the backend and linked the app with the database. After QA and testing, our app went live. They delivered for us a PM, a UI/UX designer, 5 developers, and a QA engineer. The project management has been excellent. They provided us with access to Jira so we could always see the project’s progress. The PM sent reports every 2 weeks. We used Google Meet, email, and WhatsApp for communication.

We needed a cross-platform solution to help restaurants sell the remaining food and connect them with consumers willing to buy it. We needed a user-friendly, location-based application with an in-app payment feature. Once I emailed Managed Code that I had chosen to partner with them, I got a reply with date and time suggestions for the kick-off meeting. At the kick-off meeting, we discussed everything in detail and then they started working on the application. The major steps included designing the interface, writing the code, and testing. We received an app that flawlessly works on desktop and mobile devices. I communicated with their PM, BA, and 3 developers, but there were more people involved — 6 developers in total plus a QA specialist. The app is up and smoothly running. In general project management was good. We used Jira to track the progress, and we communicated via email, WhatsApp, and Google Meet. It took the team 5 months to build the application, as initially planned.
