After we approved them as our mobile app dev partner, we organized a kick-off meeting where we discussed our goals, defined the project scope and timeline, selected the tracking tool, etc. The team at Managed Code started by creating the UI/UX design for our app. Then, we outlined the requirements for each module. When the modules and design were completed, they put together the backend and linked the app with the database. After QA and testing, our app went live. They delivered for us a PM, a UI/UX designer, 5 developers, and a QA engineer.
The project management has been excellent. They provided us with access to Jira so we could always see the project’s progress. The PM sent reports every 2 weeks. We used Google Meet, email, and WhatsApp for communication.

Once I emailed Managed Code that I had chosen to partner with them, I got a reply with date and time suggestions for the kick-off meeting. At the kick-off meeting, we discussed everything in detail and then they started working on the application. The major steps included designing the interface, writing the code, and testing. We received an app that flawlessly works on desktop and mobile devices.
I communicated with their PM, BA, and 3 developers, but there were more people involved — 6 developers in total plus a QA specialist.
The app is up and smoothly running. In general project management was good. We used Jira to track the progress, and we communicated via email, WhatsApp, and Google Meet. It took the team 5 months to build the application, as initially planned.

In our app, people can find and order dishes from many cuisines at discount. It helps restaurants and cafes not receive losses and for customers to take dishes at low prices.
