Overview

About Mateware

We are your technology partner for custom hardware development and IIoT solutions. From prototype to finished product. We are a multidisciplinary team of electronics engineers and designers covering the whole stack, from silicon to enclosure.

Mateware started a little over 2 years ago with a clear goal: to democratize access to high-level technology development, both for startups looking to disrupt the market and for industries that need to optimize their present. We are an agile company, passionate about electronics and focused on solving real problems. Over this time we have learned a great deal: we test, iterate and evolve. Each challenge has made our next development faster, more efficient and more reliable.

About our skills:

  • Firmware & embedded systems
C/C++, bare-metal and RTOS (FreeRTOS, ESP-IDF, Zephyr), embedded Linux (Buildroot). ARM Cortex (STM32, NXP, ESP32), PIC, AVR. CI/CD and automated testing.
  • Hardware & electronics
PCB design, from simple to high-speed multilayer. Power electronics, battery-powered devices, precision sensors and instrumentation, and circuit simulation.
  • Connectivity & IoT
Wi-Fi, Bluetooth/BLE, LoRa and LoRaWAN, cellular, Ethernet and custom RF protocols. IIoT platforms: real-time monitoring, dashboards, cloud and remote control.
  • Industrial design & mechanics
3D enclosures and assemblies (Fusion 360 CAD), DFM, 3D printing (FDM/resin) and injection molding. Metal, plastic and epoxy/polyurethane fills. UX/ergonomic design.
  • Reverse engineering & improvement
We analyze, replicate and optimize third-party hardware and electronics, including complex instrumentation, to improve existing equipment.
  • Lab & manufacturing
Our own lab (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, programmable power supplies, power measurement, environmental testing) and supply-chain management and PCB assembly (PCBA).
  • MoTI: - your 24/7 digital supervisor
MoTI is an industrial monitoring and telemetry system developed by Mateware. An electronic device connects to a range of sensors and sends the data in real time to our cloud platform, where you can review historical values, get statistics and control actuators. It is non-invasive (it adapts to the machinery you already have) and connectivity-agnostic (Wi-Fi, cellular, LoRa, Ethernet).
