​Milestone Management Partners, Inc. is a privately owned and operated consulting and training firm headquartered in Sandy, Utah, USA. Focused on operational execution, Milestone Management Partners are experts in consulting and training in Project Management, Operational Excellence, Lean Six Sigma, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Strategy Execution, and Business Analysis.

The beginnings of Milestone Management started back in 1987 when two visionaries, Neil Hymas and George Davis, developed cutting edge simulation training that revolutionized the knowledge transfer process. The training, simulation, and software modeling that they developed as Davis & Dean allowed students to acquire knowledge AND real skills simultaneously through providing a real world learning experience, complete with the stresses of change and deadlines…with a safety net. Davis & Dean have trained over 100,000 project managers in over 20 different countries with just the Project Management Simulation alone. Other simulations in Change Management, Leading High Performance Teams, and Construction Project Management have seen worldwide acceptance as the leading training simulations in their fields.

While Davis & Dean was busy running simulation training around the world, in 2003 a talented young retired US Army officer named Denis Petersen, armed with a hard earned Doctorate in Engineering Management, founded Milestone Management Consultants. With his partners Dan Anderson and Zig Peacock, they built their project management training and consulting practice into a thriving concern, including designing facilities, customized training, and project management that included many Fortune 500 clients and the United States military. In 2009, Milestone Management Consultants acquired Davis & Dean simulations, and two powerful project management training and consulting juggernauts were combined into one.

In 2015, Denis and his partners sold their company to Charlie Smith and Martin Widger. Charlie and Martin bring years of international executive management and consulting experience that has spanned the globe in over 50 different countries. Charlie and Martin bring real operational excellence expertise, expanding the services of Milestone Management to include Lean Six Sigma, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Strategy Execution, Finance and Business Analysis. Milestone Management Partners has now grown to more than 15 associates located around the globe. We are pleased to say that original founders Neil Hymas and Dan Anderson continue as actively involved Vice Presidents of the new business, and with us, will be helping people and organizations for many years to come.
