The company recognized the need to establish a B2B online store to streamline the purchasing process for both particular and b2b international clients .

Initial Challenges: Several challenges were present in creating the B2B online store, including setting up the store for two distinct brands on the same platform, accommodating both general and B2B clients, assigning roles to B2B clients with specific discounts based on their role and country, configuring shipping methods based on weight and country or islands, offering various payment methods tailored to each role, and enabling VAT exemption based on Intracommunity VAT regulations for EU countries. Additionally, challenges included importing products, managing stocks and prices, and handling products with variations.

Implemented Solutions: To address these challenges, we customized the theme (CSS, Javascript) and made template alterations to WooCommerce and other theme components. We modified calculation formulas for taxes and base prices (PHP and JavaScript) and incorporated custom plugins tailored to meet the client's objectives.

The content of this store can be easily managed across four languages (Portuguese, English, French, and Spanish). Products can be imported with or without variations, prices, and stocks. We customized the display of products with variations in a table format, simplifying the reading of respective variations and enabling purchases without leaving the page.

Furthermore, digital marketing strategies, including SEO optimization, media campaigns, targeted email marketing through E-goi, and lead generation via newsletters, were implemented.

Conclusion: The creation and customization of the entire B2B store based on client requirements resulted in a modern platform with personalized functionalities, showcasing a customer-centric approach. By investing in this platform, the company significantly improved its operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. The Coreworkers company emerged as a simple website for a training school, initially aimed at providing information about the courses offered. However, as needs evolved, transforming the site into an online course marketplace became pertinent. This case study explores the journey of coreworkers.pt, from its conception to its evolution into a successful e-commerce platform, powered by WordPress, WooCommerce, and customized payment gateways.

Subsequently, it became necessary to add the option to purchase courses directly online, rather than solely contacting the school for enrollment. The objective was to create an efficient online shopping experience, enhancing accessibility to the courses. In addition to defining payment methods, implementing installment payments for courses became necessary. Intuitive navigation, responsive layout design, and maintaining it during the transition to e-commerce were crucial for the project's success.
