FMB is a Community food catering. It has comprehensive features for area wise management, delivery planning, RSVP, feedback and other modules such as event management.

Challenge

  • Manual Process: The community was managing menu, RSVP and feedback in a very crude and manual process using google sheets. It was nearly impossible to get correct counts
  • User Experience: Poor user experience and engagement. Especially hard to receive feedback due to hoops required of filling in personal data and completing google sheets
  • Maintainability: Maintaining an active member database offline was a big challenge and sharing that amongst administrators of the platform and keeping it updated

Solution

  • A modern user experience: A very intuitive and easy to use android and apple mobile apps were deployed to simply menu publishing and RSVP for members
  • Members are given option to easily update their demographic data, preferences, set automation such as vacation mode and delivery
  • Aggregation of feedback, dashboards and RSVP data with realtime updates makes food preparation efficient

Anyspaces.com is already a platform available since last 6 years, but approached Noorix for a relaunch and rebuild the platform to solve several existing issues of usability, scalability and app modernisation

Challenges

  • Outdated User Experience: There were many learnings in the previous iteration of the product and Anyspaces wanted to start fresh with new perspective and new user flows
  • Scalability : The old platform can't scale globally due the inherent design and architecture
  • Maintainability: Technology team supporting the old product wasn't Australian and became harder to manage remote management and maintainability
  • Code Management: Mobile apps were harder to maintain as they were old and native builds each with different codebase and a web version. Fundamentally 3 projects to maintain and update on every change
  • Security: Security has been very loose with no real controls on authentication, authorisation, encryption and modern standards of cyber controls required for SaaS apps

  • A completely revamped architecture: Modern user experience and massive overhaul of UX/UI design, with the help of customer's internal design team and Noorix's ongoing involvement and user journey and experience
  • A cloud native scalable web and hybrid mobile app all as a single platform build on Angular and Capacitor

Tip Sheet is a classic start up SaaS company that came to us with a vision to solve a problem in the hospitality space. Technologically, this was not explored with no real solutions in the Australian Market.

Most hospitality venues use spreadsheets or some form of manual process to allocate tips. There is a lot of manual reconciliation, such POS sales, cash tips, who worked when and depending on which department and their tip points, what does each staff get. Tip Sheet aims to solve this by a great deal of automation and simplicity.

The critical aspect of this project was doing integrations with multiple POS systems, Time and Attendance providers and consolidating data to show a real-time transactional system. As simple as it looked, its possibly the most advanced product we ever produced due to the complexity of integrations and a complex scalable architecture.

What we delivered

  • A fully integerated web-based solution that handles businesses with a hierarchy of multiple venues and connects POS systems and timesheet providers such as Deputy, Roubler and Tanda to Tip Sheet
  • Simple and easy to use UI that helps venue managers to quickly review dashboards of their sales, tip earned and allocations of tips
  • Make adjustments of tip where necessary, fully supported by system audit trail and history for compliance and fairness
  • A highly scalable system that can scale to thousands of venues and users
