Nyamakop

Since forming in 2015, South African game developers Nyamakop has been built into “one of the most promising studios in African game development” as described by Polygon.

Nyamakop’s debut game, Semblance, has been exhibited all over the world at consumer shows such as E3, PAX East, Gamescom and EGX in addition to more than a dozen intimate arts festivals such as Slamdance Film Festival, South by South West (SXSW), A MAZE and Out of Index. They have also participated in prestigious residencies such as the Stugan retreat and ‘Train Jam’, and were listed on Forbes Africa’s ‘30 under 30’ list for 2018.

Nyamakop work with a wide variety of collaborators for their projects. Ranging from Yann Seznec; Daoyi Liu; and Jean Roux to Good Shepard Entertainment and Pressure Cooker Studios.
