OEC Group

I have been in the import business for many years, and I will tell you that my experience with JOSE PERALTA and KENNY XU at OEC Group New York was the worst experience have ever had with air freight.
On 12/13/21, we sent a signed proposal to OEC for an air shipment. After the shipment had already departed, JOSE PERALTA called to tell me that there was an internal error and that he miscalculated the cost of the airfreight based on gross weight and not volumetric, therefore doubling the cost to almost $7,000 AND that he will have to put our client’s shipment into storage if we do not pay prior to delivery (which was in a few days). His best response to this entire situation was a 13% discount and to say that he "cannot go any lower." My company CANNOT pass these unjustified costs on to our client, and we are left with no other option but to pay for OEC's mistake. This is a blatant breach of their own terms and conditions. In closing, none of my companies would ever recommend OEC.
